He is very insensitive. He told me point blank that l failed. He offered no support and rushed me out of my appointment. He made me feel like l wasted his time. It still effects me to this day.

Excellent Dr. Great bedside manner and he dies not take on what he does not know about...He will refer you out to a specialist he feels will serve you better.

He has terrible bedside manner... he talks at you not to you. He does not make you feel at ease... he is like a robot..he does a bad job on elaborating on your questios...he acts like he wants out in and out asap...

Did seem to concerned my BP was high just worried about who was with me at the hospital with me when I went in for my follow up.

I went to Dr Cudjoe because I was referred to his office by my OB/GYN. I had a place on my breast that was very sore and my OB/GYN said that she would prefer I see a specialist because she wasn't sure what it was. The night before I went in the place on my breast started bleeding(heavily.. to the point that my bra cup was filled with blood). I cleaned it as best as I could and put gauze over it to keep it as sterile as possible. By the next morning the bleeding had decreased and there was a large open wound on my breast. I cleaned and dressed it again after my shower and headed in to see the doctor. When he came in he asked why I was there and so I told him. He took a glimpse and said ..."Looks like an infection." come back in 2 weeks. He never even removed the gauze! He didn't even undo the tape! He peeked under it and sent me on my way! I couldn't believe it! He didn't give me anything for this infection nor did he even take the time to give me any instructions on how to care for… it!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO HIS OFFICE AGAIN!!!!! I was re-examined today and was told that it looked horrible and have been referred to a surgeon in Lansing.

Didn't feel that Dr. Cudjoe listened to me. I believe he is knowledgeable but his bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. His receptionist is not friendly at all.

I was Dr. Cudjoes 2004 first Gastricband (Lapband) patient in his new practice in Alma Michigan. He and his staff were exhalent, as well as hospital staff. Dr. Cudjoe was the only doctor on the west side of Michigan who was performing this surgery. I and my wife drove 150miles each way to have this done. We stayed a day before and day after surgery to make certain all was well. I did have some problem and I called the office after hours and within a few minutes Dr Cudjore call back and the problem solved. The first few adjustments doctor had some problems placing the needle of the syringe in the fill button. The button had moved after loosing weight. The professionalism of Dr Cudjoe showed when he ask and allowed the Fluoroscope Tec to aid him in following the reverse image on the screen. Being his first patient in Alma (during his residence he had performed a 1000 or more gastric band surgeries) I will (and I have) gladly endorse Dr.Cudjoe to any one who needs this surgery. My only… problem is not with Dr.Cudjoe but with one of the staff who has yet called or written me regarding my bill from my last surgery. I was told that I had developed a Hietal hernia by a Radiologist in the hospital near my home. Everyone felt Dr Cudjoe should do the corrective surgery because it involved the Gastric band. All was set, insurance approval, pre-opp, post- opp appointments, etc. Surgery showed Dr.Cudjoe that there was no hernia! Doctor replaced the Band adjusted it and closed up and I was all set. The problem was someone didnt code the surgery for a hernia, but instead the code for Band adjustment was used. The insurance company refused to pay the bill! The Anesthesiologist office worked with me so I could find the no pay problem, and it came to contacting State people who were hired by the governor to get bills paid. The last is 3K for the doctor. I have written 4 letters, advised them the state was going to help, but no phone call, no letter not a word from Doctors billing department other than another bill reminder. I am confident Dr.Cudjoe is not aware of this problem, if he knew about it the bill would have been paid! This is my only fault, not with Doctor Cudjoe but with some in his office. Yes it was worth every thing, I was at 500lbs. dropped 50 before surgery and now I am at 335! I was at 250 when the band was too tight and I wasnt getting any nutrition. Ugg! Thank you!
