Dr Y was straightforward and very patient with all the questions I had. Explained everything and made sure I understood what he was saying. Great bedside manners, compassionate and caring. His staff was just as amazing.

Rude and dismissive doctor. Treated me with contempt because he did not like that I knew more than he believes a patient should know about their own body. He inserted false information into my record because he misinterpreted what I said. He said I critizized other doctors when I had not. That would be pretty stupid of me to see a doc for the first time and trash other doctors. I wrote a letter to the practice manager and she couldn't be bothered to even acknowledge it, so the practice doesn't care about patients either. Stay away and find a doctor that respects patients and treats them with kindness.

Courteous, professional, caring

This doctor has the worst bedside manner I have ever seen. My mom was very ill in the hospital and he was the on call oncologist. Horrible! Very cocky person. He had no interest in answering any questions I had for him . No compassion at all!

Dr. Y is a very caring doctor. He takes the time to explain things in a clear and easy to understand manner. I highly recommend him!

My overall experience is the following: with the doctor,his nurse,my leaving telephone requests to get a call back, which takes days, and when the nurse calls you back,she won't tell you your results but that the doctor said go for more xrays and scans. I doubt if I would recommend him to anyone I know.The receptionists and the girls that call you into the room are very nice; but the doctor does not spend enough time talking to me or listening to what I have to say. Maybe I am just another patient number in their many files and if I would have another occurrence with cancer; I feel that, the way they see it is, if I would die or switch to another doctor,I am just one less patient to see. I normally don't have any problems with all the doctors and their staff that I come in contact with; but I don't believe it is the duty of the patient to have to keep calling the office for test results only to wait for days before you get a call back; only to hear from the nurse,nothing about my… results,but to go for more tests and when you ask WHY; you are told because that is what the doctor wants. Maybe, my emotions are too high;but to have cancer once and be free for 17yrs. and go for a routine test and be told that you have cancer again;keep having more tests is really stressful and everyone knows that Stress has a great deal to do with Cancer.
