Dr Ng does not care about the patient. He cares about the number of surgeries he can line up for his business. He will recommend surgeries that are unnecessary. He is arrogant and unprofessional. Avoid at all costs.

Rushed me into eye surgery without warning me of any of the risks or alternatives. The end result was a botched surgery and my vision is now worse than ever. The surgery was the worst decision I ever made.

Dr. Ng repaired an injury caused by poor cataract surgery gone wrong in Kona. He made time on a busy saturday to do surgery in Honolulu the next day, and has been seeing me regularly over the past 2 months in Hilo. I cannot say enough about his courtesy, concern for patients, and surgical skills. In fact, he is the best medical doctor I have had over the past 74 years. His concern for patients is so great that he flies from Oahu to the Big Island every week; his office is filled with patients, and the team he has assembled is superb. Count on your healthcare provider getting charged for every possible test weather you need it for your condition

Many of the tests seem repetitive. Like a routine whether you need it or not! Dr, not familiar with patient upon first meeting.should review chart before addressing or speaking to patient. Spent half an hour in WAITroom before being seen. No one informs you of wait time!!

Dr. Ng is passionate about his work and it's difficult for me to imagine a more qualified and talented physician, or a more honorable character. I am grateful to have been referred to him during my time of need.
