4-6+ months of Reconstruction surgery after a double mastectomy resulted in overfilling of the implants, with one breaking through the remaining skin tissue, leaving the silicone implant exposed outside my breast. Immediate emergency was required to remove it, along with another 3-4 months of recovery, including 4-6 weeks of both drains AGAIN. There was no compassion or acknowledgment of wrong doing. Five attorneys told me that because Colorado is a tort state for medical malpractice cases, there was nothing they could do. But they did tell me that if this happened in almost any other state in the US, I would have had a case against Phillipe. Do not be fooled and do not use him!!!!!

A first-rate experience with Dr. Capraro and staff. Everyone was caring, friendly and informative. His schedulers worked tirelessly to ensure I was able to complete my surgery within a time frame that worked best for me. Dr. Capraro carefully evaluated my case (hernia with diastasis following several pregnancies), and recommended an individualized and relatively unique surgery (hernia repair followed by floating umbilical abdominoplasty), rather than simply going a more typical route. Both pre- and post-op care were extensive, and recovery instructions clear and thorough. My comfort was considered at all times. Results were absolutely amazing.

If you are thinking about plastic surgery, I highly, HIGHLY recommend Dr. Capraro. I am a young, 25-year-old professional. I work out very regularly and am an extremely clean eater, although I had fat deposits, such as saddlebags and love handles that I just could not get rid of. I decided that I wanted to get liposuction. I did my research, went to various doctors and got consultations. Finally, without help from anyone else, I found Dr. Capraro. Upon the first visit, he was much more professional and thorough than the other doctors I had visited. He did not urge me to do the procedure, but explained that I was a great candidate for Liposuction. I had always thought it was more of a weight loss procedure, but it truly is a body sculpting procedure and Dr. Capraro is an artist. With an extensive, impressive CV and a professional soothing demeanor, I decided he was the one. I felt like I was in good hands. As the procedure creeped closer, I started to get very nervous. A lot of my… nervs came from thinking about going under anesthesia. Let me tell you, I had nothing to worry about! Dr. Capraro co-owns the surgical center where you get your procedures. My anesthesiologist called me the night before to check in on me/ask me questions and calm my nerves (Dr. Capraro only works with the best anesthesiologists). Everyone at the medical center was over the top nice and accommodating. I immediately felt relieved and taken care of. Dr. Capraro came out and talked to my Mom when he was finished and she was also very impressed with him. His passion for his work, professionalism, and genuine care for his patients. My recovery went smooth, when I did have issues with pain or (I had a reaction to my antibiotics) the staff at Grossman were right there to help, every time I called and constantly checking up on me. 3 weeks after surgery I saw Capraro so he could check in on me. I am so happy with his work. He is a perfectionist and an artist and wants to make you feel great in your skin. He gave me a warm hug when I thanked him for what he had done. I cannot say enough about Dr. Capraro . Behind a serious, somewhat intense persona lies a man who is brilliantly meticulous, artistic and talented in what he does. In addition, he is compassionate beyond measure, caring more for his patients and the surgical outcome than he allows himself to convey. I was a complicated medical profile, aside from the breast cancer issue I presented with. Dr. C. took the time to get to know me, staying late into the day on more than one occasion, while patiently presenting alternatives approaches to my situation. In the end, we proceeded with reconstructive surgery, and I have an outstanding and natural looking outcome. Throughout the different stages, his nursing team showed the same respect and personalized care about my needs as Dr. C. My admiration and respect for this physician and his team cannot be more strongly stated. You are in excellent hands with Dr. Capraro â?? invest the time in talking with him.

I have nothing but praise for Dr. Capraro and his staff. Dr. Capraro thoroughly explained my procedure to me and patiently answered every question. He used technology and my photos to show me what he planned to do which I found very helpful. When I was feeling anxious a few weeks post surgery, he took the time to talk with me and calm my fears. He's truly one of the most caring doctors I've ever worked with.

I read the other review just before mine and I could not say it any better. I was just totally amazed by the outcome of Dr. Capraro's operations on my wife.

Dr. Capraro is my reconstructive surgeon follow breast cancer surgery and I just can't begin to say enough good things about him. I'd have thought that chosing a double mastectomy as an under 40 type woman would have been impossible but after meeting Dr, Capraro it was a "no brainer." His compassion and reassurance have been off the charts. He's meticulous and a perfectionist as a surgeon. I ended up with a heamotoma after my first surgery and (although it was probably the general surgeon's area of responsibility to deal with) Dr. Capraro was the one who came in at 2 AM to fix it. I've since heard that many doctors simply aspirate such hematomas bedside but Dr. Capraro went back in and redid my entire implant so as to ensure tissue survival for the best reconstructive results. Bottom line: If you have to go through breast cancer surgery, you want Dr. Capraro by your side.
