He preformed a colon resection on me. He made sure before the surgery that I understood every aspect of the procedure, he did this with detailed and easy understandable terms. He shows incredible compassion and empathy. After the procedure, he explained every detail of the operation. His bedside manner made me feel confident of the entire process. For his specialty, I would recommend no one but him. I seldom ever do reviews, but I had to let the world know of his excellence.

I was fortunate to have had Dr. Itriago as my surgeon. He took the time to explain why the surgery was necessary, exactly what had to be done and what to expect afterwards. He actually listened and answered all my and my wife's questions about why I developed an incisional hernia after my original colon surgery by another doctor. If he had initially done my colon surgery, I probably would not have developed an incisional hernia based upon his technique. It is so important to find the right surgeon with the right expertise and compassion. He is the one you should rely on . Also, I want to thank Trish, his medical assistant, for being so dedicated and caring in setting up appointments, tests and returning phone calls promptly to ease the anxieties associated with going through medical procedures.

I’ll be forever thankful to Dr. Itriago and his team for the expertise and compassion that they exemplified during my sickness. He is extremely intelligent and knows his stuff when it comes to his specialty. I’ll never be able to repay him for what he has done for me.
