Dr. Frank Lloyd Annis, MD

He's a good doctor, seems compassionate....but when it comes to money he gets skeezy. I saw him under a new health plan that he was in-network for, and I called to make an appointment but he told me he didn't like how long it took the insurance to pay him, so he asked me to pay out of pocket instead of billing insurance. I double checked with my insurance and they verified that he was indeed in-network and that it should only take a short time, maybe a month, for him to get paid, and that I should only be paying the co-pay. A few years later I called again under new health plan and asked if he accepted my insurance and he texted back saying he had retired. His outgoing message indicated he's still in practice. This made me think. He's quite possibly taking patients' out-of-pocket payments AND billing the insurance on top of that.

I was a patient of Dr. Frank Annis. This was during my late teens. My parents were told he was the perfect psychiatrist for me. Dr. Annis treated me by giving me drugs that were supposed to improve my condition. But they did nothing except make me very ill and even more despondent than I was when I started theraphy. Eventually I deteriorated and developed other symptoms that I did not have before seeing Dr. Annis. When I went to college I began seeing another psychiatrist as well as seening the mental health clinic at my university. It took me 6 years to repair the damage which of his treatment.

He can hear underneath what I am saying. He respects me. I leave empowered.

This is the first Psychiatrist that has impressed me with his honesty, sincerity, knowledge and compassion. I highly recommend Dr. Annis, as he listens and hears what you are saying, and he is both; knowledgeable and careful in prescribing medication.
