Dr. Frank Gerard Baloh, MD

Stay away from this doctor and his staff. Rude, downgrading, know it all attitude. My last visit was in Bethlehem. I arrived ahead of time. Had a billing question and while the office was trying to find the answer out - the doctor decided to leave and I wasn’t seen. On top of that he didn’t really help my problem.

I was SENT to see Dr. Baloh by another doctor on HIS STAFF for continual conjunctival hemorrhaging of both eyes, and when I commented on headaches etc., he said, “Why are you here to see me? I’m an opthamologist!” I replied that I was afraid I was going to have a stroke, and he said, “If anyone in this room is going to have a stroke, it’s going to be me!” This man is sarcastic, condescending and insulting. If you go see him, prepare to be put down, and if you have an ounce of dignity, talk back. If I had that appointment to do over, I would have reacted with anger at the way I was treated.

Dr. Baloh is excellent. He repaired my eye after the cancer was removed from my left lower eye lid. He told me exactly what to expect and that is exactly what happen. I have gotten many complements on the results of his work.

Overall experience was excellent. Very happy with the results. Very little discomfort after the surgery. Treatment by the staff was super.

If you are looking for a kind, compassionate and caring eye doctor I would avoid this man! NO BEDSIDE MANNERS! Runs out of office so you don't even have time to ask questions!! Found another doctor in Allentown who I would highly recommend that is not far from this practice. I was treated like a human being should be treated.
