Dr. Frank Anthony Luzi JR., MD

My experience with Dr. Luzi was something so terrible that I never want to go through anything like what I went through ever again. I had to see Luzi for an IME. He questioned me on medical information I didn't remember like places, times, facilities and names of doctors. I could see and hear in his voice as he grew more and more frustrated and angry at me. Finally, I suggested that all the medical information he was asking me for should have been provided by the insurance company that hired him. Hoping my answer might clear up any further questions it seemed to provoke his frustration more. Yelling and screaming at me that I should know when, where, and who I saw, treatment as well as facilities. I provided the information I knew and could remember but for dates, places and doctors that I couldn't remember spanning nearly 10 years was just too difficult to remember. He continued to grow more frustrated making me very uncomfortable. He asked me "Why do you think you're here Mr.… Reyes?" (In a condescending way) I responded and said " I'm here for an IME". Luzi never examined my ankle which that was the sole purpose for my appointment and threw me out of his office! I left as instructed painfully confused and called my attorney

Dr luzi replaced my husbands knee. He was absolutely awesome. He has expertise, great bedside manner and a wonderful staff

Dr. Luzi did a total hip replacement on me. He was very informative, explained the entire process, including all the risks and benefits. He then explained everything again at my follow up appointment in his office after I was released and went over all my x-rays with me.

Dr. Luzi is the ultimate, kind, smart human being. He operated on me twice & will be doing my knee replacement in 2 months. Just a fine, wonderful man with a terrific personality and the best surgeon.

Dr. Luzi and his staff were extermely helpful, professional and informative during my treatment. I feel he did a very good job when he operated on my knee. The surgery was expected to take 30 minutes, and it took over an hour. Dr. Luzi made sure it when done right. Also, my recovery was alot less painful than I expected. I will recommend Dr. Luzi to family and friends.

Dr. Luzi immediately diagnosed the need for my right knee replacement after my current surgeon treated me for a year, did arthroscopic surgery and draining, before telling me there was nothing wrong with my knee. It was a 45 year old injury and had 5 previous surgeries. I KNEW it needed to be replaced! Dr. Luzi was professional and courteous. He scheduled surgery quickly and even placed the scar over my old scars so it didn't look too scary! His bedside manner is outstanding and follow up is excellent. I would highly recommend him to anyone, and have, several times. His secretary, Jill, is extremely polite and schedules appointments in days or weeks, not months. Overall, fantastic treatment.

I thought overall everything went as smoothly as could be , all things consideering the nature of my hip. Was in terrible pain for 10 years and after surgery evry thing is fine . The good Doctor visited me evry day and also someone from his staff did so as well . Spends time with me on my visits and I don't feeel I am rushed at all.

I would not hesitate to recommend him.
