Dr. Gabriel M Werder, MD

Exceptional skill in performing my procedure and talked with me at least once an hour for the next 4 hours to insure I tolerated the procedure an was improving . During this time he contacted my urologist to give him updates on my progress.

i see dr. werder two or three times a year when dialysis starts having difficulty. he's always very nice, charming and funny. he always gets dialysis going smoothly again too, but the machine always starts alarming again after a few months - he says it's like the oil change for a car that has to keep getting done on schedule. they give free lunch after and it's pretty good. the only downside is it always takes at least an hour before the operation, but it's worth the wait to me because he takes his time to do a good job.

Did not seem that competent. Talked a good talk but I overheard him being condescending to his nurses. Ended up putting in two stents in my fistula. It does not work well now. I went to Emory and they said I should have never gone to his office.

Doctor Werder talked to me before, during and after surgery in such a calming way. He explained everything in an easy way to understand and showed me pictures of what he did afterwards. He was also kind, funny and best of all he fixed the problem.

Dr. Werder fixed my fistula for dialysis although he put in numerous stents and now the thing does not work as well. Dialysis can not get into my fistula easily. They say it is because he put these metal tubes inside me.

I've seen Dr. Werder for over 3 years. If he is unavailable, I reschedule rather then see another doctor.

I have been 100% pain-free ever since Dr. Werder did my back surgery! I couldn't be happier!
