Dr. Gail M Pezzullo-Burgs, MD

Dr. Gail Pezullo-Burgs has been my Gynecologist for almost 20 years. She is the most caring, professional, wonderful doctor. I give my highest recommendation to her and her staff!

As with most doctors, she is clueless regarding the how her office handles patients. When you call the office you are put on hold immediately, regardless of whether other patients are ahead of you of not. I have have both experienced that, and witnessed it first hand as I was in the waiting room. When you check in, you are not greeted. Sign in. You are not acknowledged. You are not told whether she is running late or not. I have been her patient for 3 years. the waiting room wait time has increased each year. Regardless of their excuses. Expect a 30-50 min in the waiting room with no updates. I have also been left, unattended, with no updates, in an exam room, for over an hour. This is not protocol and not acceptable by any AMA standard. I made a formal, written complaint with regard to "patient abaondonment", but I gave the benefit of the doubt. This particular review is new, but typical of their practice. I had a blood test on 12/5. No one called me with any results. A MONTH… LATER, I received a call minutes before 5pm, on a Friday, stating that I needed to call them asap. I called minutes later and the office was closed. Very typical of this practice to deliberately call the patient just before closing and to leave the patient, over a weekend or a holiday, ruining their weekend. The following Monday I was presented with disturbing results and requested that they mail the results to me to give to another physician. 5 days later, I have received nothing in the mail.

Worst Dr visit ever. She shows no emotion or ounce of caring, she does not listen, repeats the same questions, must not take notes because she had to ask me what she prescribed to me. She provides no medical advice, I believe she lacks that knowledge. Avoid her and find someone else who actually cares and has the medical know how to take care of your individual needs.

Terrible bedside manner, didn't even look at the questionnaire I filled out. Have a past issue that she prescribed antibiotic for and she didn't even ask how I felt or if symptoms still were present which they were...in a nut shell, probably one of the worst providers I have seen.

I've been seeing Dr PB for over 25 years and I follow her wherever she goes! She has performed two surgeries on me and been my OB for my two children! All my experiences with her have been positive!

Dr. Pezzullo-Burgs has the best bedside manner. She listened patiently & I never felt rushed. She answered all my questions & made me feel secure that I could trust her advise. I would highly recommend her.

I switched to Dr Pezzullo- Burgs after the birth of my first son six years ago. She saw me for my six week post pardum appt. She can identify with you. She has 4 children of her own. I came to her because I had a very bad experience with another OB office. She has delivered two more of my children. My first pregnancy was difficult she helped me through the next two. Yes, Im probably not an easy patient for I have lots of questions and tend to worry. She was great. Over the years sometimes I walk right in and sometimes you wait. Any great doctor is worth waiting for. Dr Harris who assisted in both deliveries is great too. I followed them to their new office. She is not cold!!!! she has a family, job ect, she isn't there for comedy hour. She has always been professional and has never been nasty to me. She is always willing to listen or answer any questions. In addition too,their office offers services that most women want or like to give. I've done a diet with her and also… Reina her acupuncturist is excellent. I love their new office and they hold monthly meetings about womens wellness. You should check them out! My family loves her.

My experience was not a pleasant one. I never got my test results for any test taken. The office will hardly ever return your phone call. The doctor's bedside manner was cold, and she explains nothing to you. The whole experience was frustrating.

Every visit I had to wait for an hour to see doctor!!!! I value my time, I pay money for a visit, I make an appointment in advance, I don't late, I appreciate doctor's and other patients time, I can't understand why I have to wait for long time!!!!

I follow Dr. Gail Pezzullo-Burgs to whatever office she practices in over the years (going on 20 now). She is wonderful and this sounds selfish but I hope she never retires :)Rating=10+++++++++ !!
