His research interests include the impact of cardiovascular aging on cardiac structure and function, and the use of stem cells to repair damaged cardiac muscle. He has published nearly 250 articles and book chapters and has been a referee for numerous journals including Circulation, The New England Journal of …Medicine and The Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
