Dr. Geoff Tyler Ledgerwood, MD

I've been a patient of Dr. Ledgerwood for 3 years. He's straightforward, extremely knowledgeable, honest and sincere. I recently underwent prostate reduction surgery performed by Dr. Ledgerwood. His preparation of me for the impacts, recovery and benefits of the procedure were 100% spot on. His assistant Nancy was also a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Dr. Ledgerwood and his team for urological issues.

I recently ended up in the Medical Center of Aurora with a large kidney stone that needed surgical intervention & stent placement. Dr. Ledgerwood was oncall and arrived to do my intervention; I am so thankful I was partnered with him. Before I go any further let me be upfront regarding the fact that I have been a Registered Nurse for 26+ years, hold numerous Board Certifications in Wound Care, Ostomy Care and Hyperbaric Nursing, and am nearly finished in my FNP program, so to impress me......well it takes quite a bit. Dr. Ledgerwood is kind, friendly, highly educated, and to the point. He doesn't beat around the bush in terms of the severity of one's issues and what it takes to get on the right path. I appreciate that. Additionally I have had great experiences with both John (his scheduler) & Nancy (his MA) as they have been extremely helpful through my health care appointments & needs. I would highly recommend Dr. Ledgerwood and his team for your Urology needs--you will not be… disappointed and you will be in excellent hands!!!!

It is a rare doctor today who not only takes the time to understand his patient, but knows how to deliver difficult messages with compassion, empathy and concern for the patients understanding and emotional reaction to that message. He is the best I have ever encountered. I am a prostate cancer survivor, and I have dealt with a wide range of specialists, none of which come close to Dr, Ledgerwood. I also greatly appreciate his honesty and candor. He can be the 'velvet hammer' when necessary.

I had a similar experience to Don T, above. Ledgerwood has a habit of not responding to phone calls and the communication with his staff is abhorrent. I can understand that many doctors are overloaded with patients, but this practice is especially overloaded -- and quite frankly arrogant and rude to patients. I wouldn't even think of going to this practice for surgery *shudders*.
