Dr. George Roshdy Attia, MD

This post is for the entire office, not necessarily George himself. I started seeing him in October 2023 for egg freezing. After 3 visits, I was finally able to start my egg freezing process. However, his staff FORGOT to submit my insurance paperwork (which takes 15+ days to approve), and submitted it the same day as my treatment (they could have submitted it anytime between October to December when I was visiting). I triple checked with my insurance if it was normal to submit for authorization the same day as the treatment, they said absolutely not and they could have submitted anytime and up to 15 days before treatment. As a result of this gross negligence, I would be paying over $20,000+ out of pocket if my insurance was not approved for whatever reason. I went to the pharmacy in Hialeah per their recommendation to pick up the prescription but did not pick to due to it not being approved and needing to pay $6000 out of pocket costs. I had to extend my stay in Miami 2 months to do… this procedure as I live out of state, only for it to not happen (due to staff incompetence of not submitting my paperwork in time and getting approval from insurance). As a result, I have spent over $8000 in housing and flight costs to stay in Miami to do this procedure, only for it not to even happen. Truly mind boggling the incompetence and unprofessionalism of this team. A patient is not responsible for doing the basic paperwork insurance duties of the staff. Had I known they would have ‘forgotten’ I would have not wasted 3 months of my life and thousands of dollars here for 0 results.

I waited on the virtual visit at least 10 minutes before receiving a call that he was behind and would need to call back in an hour. I said fine. When he called back, I told him what I was having trouble with and he said he couldn’t help, couldn’t refer me to anyone in the area, didn’t have any medical advice, and apologized. He did sincerely seem apologetic that he couldn’t help and tried to find out how I got scheduled with him. I told him it was suggested I schedule a consultation with him because I couldn’t get in with another doctor at UHealth for a year. But he reiterated he couldn’t do anything. Yet he billed me for this under 5 minute virtual visit.

Don’t waste your time , he just care about money. His métodos are very antique and very sussessfull for his pocket , I hope you can understand. You still have a good chance to find a real doctor that care about your treatment .Bur if you still don’t believe me read the collection of horribles reviews that he has in many pages , and everybody match in the same points . I hope my review can help others don’t wasting time , money and save deceptions and bad moments and exposing the women body to many hormones because I can swear you that you don’t will achieve a positive result here .

This is the worst doctor i have ever visit in my whole life . In my first call to this office Mrs Bibiana recommend this doctor as the best around the Florida and is nor true ,the bad reviews everywhere don't let me say lie .Her comercial was To good to be true .She also says that the package is the cheapest one and at the end you will finish paying more ,this is just a way to present to you the package as a marketing ,but in addition to that is better to pay more and go to another real doctor . As I said to someone in the office ...if you tell me that you will give me the second treatment free with Attia i say not .Don't get any extra discount that they give u ,you deserve be treated as a human been . This man is Very unprofessional even when his treatment fail he recommend to me go to another different facility . He doesn't have any compations for the patients ,and any person in the staff ,all the time he and the staff are in rush , he doesn't explain the procedure with the… result step by step ,he works like a factory with horribles results by the way ,an in this kind of treatment any woman is the same case .At this point i don't know wich one was the quality of the embrions that he transfered to me ,that by the way my result was very negative ,he cares just about money ,his techniques in IVF are very antiques for examples embrions transfers t day 3 .And I can tell because after my fail IVF treatment with this (Doctor) if i can say that he is ,i have started to enroll in many Virtual Forums around the country and all the doctor with more than 30 years of experiences are agree that transfer day 3 is flush the patient's money in the toilet for many reasons . The staff never answer the phone and either call u back . They give you wrong appoitments etc ,In conclusion are many more stuff so i don't recommend this piece of trash at all . Please don't waste your time an either your money .I am still in shock and with trauma with this procedure in this office ,I don't want you to pass the same .I don't recommend him at all .

This office lacks empathy and time to really care for their patients. The seem swamped and unable to really care and give you the time you need. You are rushing from the moment you arrive till the moment you leave, always with the same comment "The nurses will contact you". You hardly see the doctor, you interact with a lady all the time and she is the one writing on your record. Horrible experience, they tell you they'll call you and sometimes has been a month without a call. Very frustrating and sad, cause at the end of the day, it is not free at all.

Dr Attia, his nurses( Silvana and Maria)’ Maira, Sandra, front deck, and all these team was wonderful, the best, humanity, perfecta skills, excellent patient care and instructions. Me and my husband gives 100 starts

This person is the worst doctor ever, all he and is staff care about is there money and send you through a lot of process just to tell you bull crop, he will have you see him for one minute and then send you outside to pay money for nothing, the review look great, but the doc sucks, I will never go back here.

He is the best.

My husband and I are very happy. It was a long cherished dream that finally came true and we will be eternally grateful to UM professional medical team for making it happen!

Dr Attia and his staff are the best, my husband and I had been to several clinics in Miami and I can not start to explain, my friend asked me to go to see Dr Attia, very kind doctor, we loved him and his staff. straight to point, and I am pregnant after my first trial....I will always be thankful....
