Dr. Gerald Thomas Arbour JR., MD

Dr Arbour is an outstanding physician. He is, by far, the best gastroenterologist in the city of Baton Rouge. He is always very thorough, patient and caring with my husband and me.

Dr Tommy Arbour is BEST GI one could ever wish for! He is caring, smart, patient, kind..and goes beyond what is needed for his patients.

Dr. Arbour is pleasant and well-mannered. He focused more on my computerized chart rather than me, and I did not find his physical examination to be thorough. He asked very few questions about my medical condition, and I, later, realized that I had been having symptoms that I did not mention due to being so stressed. I think physicians should ask detailed questions about a patient's problem rather than having the patient report symptoms. I think the interview is just as or more important than tests performed.

Dr. Arbour was very patient in his explanations of the procedure. He had a very comfortable demeanor which put me at ease. His nurse was very friendly and comforting as well.
