""PATIENTS BEWARE" ! Dr. Gideon Lewis is a not the podiatric physician you may think he is. He performed a procedure called a Bunionectomy on my wife. My wife is petite, she is 5ft 4in and around 100lbs.''DR. GIDEON OBVIOUSLY HAD THE WRONG SIZE HARDWARE (BRACKETS AND SCREWS) HIS CHOICE'S WHILE PERFORMING MY WIFE'S SURGERY!!! Dr .Gideon Lewis used surgical hardware which actually was to big for her foot. These issues were to be observed by another local Podiatric surgeon. The new surgeon who corrected Dr. Gideon's "hack job" stated when performing the surgery to correct everything, that he could actually pull the screws and brackets that were all loose and he could pull the hardware out with his fingers. My wife used a bone stimulator as requested by Dr. Gideon, it didn't help heal her foot.THE PAIN WAS SO UNBEARABLE! SHE REQUESTED AN APPOINTMENT AFTER SURGERY AND DR. LEWIS SAID THE PAIN WAS FROM SCAR TISSUE. WELL OF COURSE THERE IS GOING TO BE SCAR TISSUE SINCE EVERYTHING WAS LOOSE AND… WALLOWED OUT FROM DR. GIDEONS POOR CHOICES DURING THE SURGERY. I TRULY WISHED MY WIFE WOULD HAVE CHOSEN ANOTHER DR. his bedside manner is arrogant and condescending. Make a conscious decision when getting any surgery and study all the reviews possible negative and positive reviews.

I've been with the doctor since 1999 and I've struggle with my weight I've ask for help but he will not help

Prescriptions are always incorrect or he has forgotten to send them thru or to the wrong pharmacy!

Dr Gideon Lewis SR has been my physician for over 30 years. Over those years, it did not matter what symptoms I came in with, he knew exactly what the cause was and what the solution would be. Sometimes I had to be referred to a specialist who did the type of surgery I needed, but Dr Lewis always diagnosed accurately. I have always been amazed how up to date he is on the latest procedures and medications, and always open to any questions I may have no matter how many there were. I have never been treated like an number and pushed through to meet a daily quota. Besides being an outstanding brilliant doctor, he is one of the nicest and has always shown how he cares for my well being.

My Husband was his patient for many years.He had many medical problems.He was an Alcholic; he had heart problems lung problems and he had leukemia. Doctor Lewis with the help of God saved my husbands life many times. He had such patients with my husband even when my husband was drunk.I always appreciated eveything Dr Lewis did for my husband. i would remember he would ask my husband A question my husband would answer. We both would know my husband was not being truthful we would look at each other and smile. I would to let doctor Lewis know I had great respect foe him and his knowledge. Thank you for treating him.i want you to know before he passed he made peace with God and me. j could tell by the look on his face he was at peace. my daughter Nancy is your patient and she always tells me She feels you are the best.

While Dr. Lewis, in general practice, is a very accomplished doctor and exceedingly patient centered, his office's administration has failed to place prescriptions, to contact me with test results in a timely manner, and to provide documentation for other services. If I did not like the doctor so much I would find another practice.

I first saw Dr. Lewis as a young woman, and eventually both my parents, my sister's family, and my family became his patients. I believe Dr. Lewis's attention to detail and the way he listens to his patients is life-saving. It was for my mother for sure, who survived Ovarian Cancer, Bladder Cancer, and losing a kidney to cancer during his care. Members of my family have been with him for thirty-five years. There are times you may wait in his office, but you NEVER mind because you know he takes all the time you need...and for all his patients. I have trust in his care, his medical knowledge, and kindness as well as the respectful way he treats his patients.

If you wish to be treated as a person, not just an apt time, Dr. Gideon G. Lewis is the Doctor for you. The true compassion this man has for others should be a pre requisite for all doctors. You will be treated with respect and kindness from him and the staff. Oh, and medically speaking, he has saved lives, and I am speaking from stories of patients who have been with him for 30 years. I am moving back to Florida. I wish I still worked there!
