Dr. Gregory Zapantis, MD

Horrible patient service. Overcharged for appointment. I have been trying to gain a refund for over a month! Management is ignoring the front desk staff. They won't give me the managements emails. I suggest finding another office! There are plenty of fertility offices with good customer service- this isn't one of them!

He is a great doctor but some of his staff are extremely unprofessional. They are more concerned with socializing than helping. I could write pages worth of incidents but the most important one perhaps is having my ivf meds delayed because their office was closed for a week over the summer so I had to remain on birth control for what ended up being an additional 2 weeks once all said and done. I am not sure if it effected my ivf which I did a frozen cycle got 1 embryo thankfully but can’t help imagining if things went the way they should’ve would we have had more success? I would’ve waited to begin the pill and everything later when they returned and reopened the office but wasn’t provided that option and with everything going on in a fertility journey I didn’t think to ask to delay so that’s on me. Several other occurrences I had to remind staff to send me copies of my medical history - gave them a couple of weeks didn’t hear from them and reached back out only to be apologized to… and they had my files uploaded to the portal by end of the day. I also can’t help but imagine if I didn’t call how long I’d be waiting for my medical records to be scanned and uploaded. I just envisioned the staff with my chart sitting there as they socialize and no one scans it. This clinic put a bad taste in my mouth but the doctor is amazing he’s just wonderful and some of his staff needs to be replaced. He’s so kind that I can’t see him firing anyone but they need to become more organized and I feel bad for the staff that works hard to keep the clinic together they are amazing. If the other office staff members cannot coordinate properly and keep records together than it concerns me. You need a great doctor and attentive compassionate staff. I recommend going to him because he still is one of the most talented compassionate doctors I’ve ever met but just felt like sharing my experience with the discombobulated staff.

He is great but the staff in this office especially the office manager is horrible. She thinks it is professional to speak with her team about personal matters in an open setting. She also thinks it's okay to talk to a patient's financial situation tin an open setting as well. When you ask to meet in her office, she has you stand the entire time while she sit (???). Completely unprofessional. A great team can make or break a doctor no matter how good he or she is. Again, loved the doctor but the office staff does not help him so I left to a different doctor whose team is phenomenal.

Dr Zapantis is amazing. He is very knowledgeable. He knew exactly how to treat my condition- the tests needed and the best medicine to treat me. He knew current trends and explained everything. I was pregnant after he did his first procedure on me. I’m very thankful for this doctor.

Dr.Z is beyond and amazing Dr. he is also an amazing person. It was a very long journey together but during that time I felt confident even tho the outcome wasn’t as expected and hoped for I still felt I was in the right hands and trusted his expertise. Now for his staff they are very nice an friendly they may not get everything right all the time but they are humans we all have our days but Suzanna is the one who stood out to me most she is wonderful inside and out. I can truly say Dr.Z has been a truly an amazing Dr an with mixed emotions I am glad I had the opportunity to be in his care and sad I will no longer be but happy that our baby girl will be here soon. So thank you to everyone at New York Reproductive Wellness for all that you did big or small. Uneque W

Wonderful caring doctor and great staff!!!!!!!

Dr. Zapantis and the staff are excellent. He knew that I was nervous and he explained everything to me and I really appreciate that he was so compassionate. The staff especially the nurse Lisa, and Nancy are very nice people.

I was very happy with Dr Z and his staff. During this stressful time in our life, Dr Z was a tremendous help, he 'thinks outside the box' and his caring manner really helped us get through a difficult time in our life. Dr Zapantis was successful in getting me pregnant (others were not) I'm very grateful, his staff was kind and caring too.
