I went to Dr. Lewen for a condition in my eye called Xanthelesma. He was not the first doctor I visited. He is the only one that resolved my problem. I'm transferring my entire family to his care for our vision care.

I wanted to get my eyes done for so long but I was terrified. My optometrist sent me to see Dr. Lewen and I knew I had found the doctor. I had my upper and lower eyelids done and I am very happy. I look great but not that too done.

I was sent by dermatologist to Dr.Lewen's office with a suspicious lesion on my upper left eyelid to perform a biopsy, A week later, the results indicated a malignancy. I was sent back to my dermatologist for MOHs surgery. Unfotunately, after removing the cancer a portion of my eyelid had to be excised. I, then, was sent back immediately to Dr. Lewen's office for observation. He immediately scheduled scheduled surgery for early the following morning. Dr. Lewen, in two and a half hours grafted some tissue from the other eye and artistically rebuilt my damaged eyelid to close to its original anatomy. This was done to protect my eye and to restore its esthetics. I was both amazed and happy with what I observed after the procedure! For the next couple of months, I was given periodic appointments at Dr. Lewen's office to check on my progress. He spent a lot of time explaining every aspect of what was done and what to expect. No stone was left unturned. Having a question in between… appointments, my phone call was answered immediately by Dr. Lewen, which was very reassuring. As a doctor, myself, it was much appreciated. I found Dr. Lewis and his office and staff to be immaculate. His staff, including Morgan, Catarina, and Stef always greeted my wife and me like we were old friends, with a smile and usually a funny story! If there was any anxiety, they quickly eased it with their kindness. All and all Dr. Lewen and his staff turned a negative event into a positive one....THANK YOU!!
