Dr. Gregory Franklin Mayberry, MD

I saw Dr. Mayberry at Norwood Clinic at Brookwood Hospital. His behavior is totally unprofessional! He did not bother to look at me or address me when he entered the room. It was the most shocking and uncaring attitude I have ever seen, and I am 62 years old. He didn't even verify my identity! The worst!

I initially visited Dr. Mayberry based on referral from another specialist as I was looking for a PCP. The first visit, the nurse recorded my blood pressure way low. I told both her and the doctor that was not a normal reading but they did not re-check and chalked it up as a result of recent changes in my diet and exercise. The following year I was having back pain and, although skeptical, I made another appointment with his office. I told him about my pain and the first thing he recommended was physical therapy. I do not have a problem with PT, I was just wanting more information as to what was wrong with my back. As is having a second thought he requested an x-ray (you think??) and even asked me if I wanted the x-ray the same day....(really?) He did not examine my back other than having me lay on my back and move my legs up and down. By the end of the day I am still in pain and the PT office is calling trying to get me to schedule sessions. I told them I wanted to see what… the results were before I move forward with PT. 2 days later the PT office is calling me again trying to schedule and I still haven't heard from the doctor's office. Finally the nurse calls on the third day only saying "your results show nothing (in so many words)." She did not ask me how I was feeling or if my pain had subsided. I am still in a lot of pain. They are not concerned or caring and treated me as if I was a file that needed to be cleared.
