First visit all that we got was Eat no more 4oz of anything with eyes. Then provided a green sheet to take to hospital for ultra sound testing and a jug to pee in over 24 hours. Told us to take the jug of urine and get blood testing to the Vera med center The lady at the desk looked and could not find any thing from the doctor. She called his office and talked to nurse and was told" This is the 2nd time they lost that. I have patiences I will send it when I have time. this was 1;20 pm we waited until 4 pm and she never sent it. We drove back to Merritt Island office. I asked for a copy of the paper work I was told the the nurse what have to get it. I waited and she came out and she said what do you want I told her and she turned around . Then returned with it. She said I gave it to you. I said to her you told the lady at the hospital that we had lost it two times before she said "I never said that". I asked why did you not sent it. She turned and walked away. Why would the lady at… the hospital lie. On the other hand the nurse had every reason to lie, and she did not fax it over . The total attitude of that office has that same attitude. I dove to our family doctors office and requested a referral to another kidney doctor. One other point my wife call the office and asked if she could talk to their nutritionist. The reply was 'WE DO NOT HAVE ONE" How can you have a kidney doctor that requires you eat nothing with eyes and not have a nutritionist. The office is poorly managed from top to bottom . I would never advise anyone to go to this office. I would rate this doctor and his staff as less the poor. How can you trust your life to this kind of gross incompetence.?

Been with Dr. Girgis for 15 years, absolutely the best Nephrologist ever.
