He has a great reputation, however, please pay attention to "read between the lines " for this doctor. Keep track, ask fir all visits be videoed, I found contradictions one after the other.

I have been following up with Dr. Van Loveren since 2016 when I got diagnosed with a brain issue. He has been nothing but the best and has helped me in every single way he possibly can! He is very quick in finding ways to make you comfortable no matter what you are dealing with! I could not recommend anyone better then this gentlemen! If you are looking for someone to trust then please make a consultation with him! Thank you so much Dr. Van Loveren for being kind and patient with me throughout the years as we try to find a way to help my head issues!

I've been going to Van Lovern for years now. He acts like he doesnt care anymore. I highly DO NOT recommend him.

Dr. Van Lovers did acoustic neuroma surgery 24 yrs. ago. I don'thave a single complaint , he was practicingin Cincinnati, Ohio then an Dr Miles Pensak was assisting him.

I have tried to get Vanlovern to help me find someone to go to for the pains I have had. He has told me as long as I do not have Papeledema he has done his job, then walk out of the room leaving me crying. I do not recommend him at all. When a Dr says he doesnt know what the pain is and layer you find out he did know just by reading results listed on the TGH mychart.com...... that's bad. He lied. He rarely does revisions unless it is severe. Even if your in severe pain.

I found Dr. VanLoveren after being diagnosed with a Chiari Malformation and being unhappy with the neurologist my primary care physician recommended I see. He was nothing but extraordinary throughout that very stressful time in my life and performed my decompression surgery within 7 months of my original diagnosis. He was patient and took the time to fully explain the risks of having vs not having surgery and I did not feel pressured as many people with Chiari can be, to have the surgery. Three years later I began having complications again and I was able to reach out to him for a referral to a neuro in my area now (TN). I have nothing but good things to say about this man!

This note is in reference to October 21 2007. My son Justin arrived at Tampa General by Aero Med 3 with a severe head injury after falling from a golf cart. If it not for Dr. Loveren and the staff, my son would not be with us and back to doing the job he was born to do. Being a Deputy. Dr. Van Loveren is one of the most caring compassionate doctors. He's definitely one of the BEST, not only at TGH, but from across the country!

The first time I actually felt I met Dr.Van Loveren was on my first post op aappointment. I had no idea what hel even looked like.I only remembered a lot of white coats during my stayin Tampa General.I was admitted from Dade city community hospital via ambulance (code 4). My review is all from what my husbnd has told me. I have only slight recollection of my time there. I do remember needing a lot of pain medication for my severe headaches. Dr. Van Loeren spoke with my husband after I had my MRI ,and told him I needed to go to surgery. My husband asked how soon, and he replied NOW. I for some reason decided I needed to research hospitals in the area ,if I ever needed one for something serious. Myresearch was done three weeks before I was admitted with my brain abscess. I have such respect for Dr. Van Loveren. I truly feel if it were not for him and Dr. Agazzi who also operated on me for the second abscess,I would not be living to the capasity I am today. I would have likely had little… use of my left side and difficulty speaking,and eating. I have recovered fully thanks to their expertise. I would recommend both of them ,any time.
