Dr. Howard Huang, MD

It took me a month or so after being referred to get in but it was well worth it. I don't understand the bad reviews. My only issue with him was he talked low and fast and was difficult to understand but he did slow down when needed. I went there for low back pain I have been suffering with for 10 years. I got a very thorough physical examination. He seemed to know right away what I needed and I got set up quickly for injections. On the day of my injections which was at the Ambulatory Surgery Department of the orthopedic group . The entire staff was wonderful . , , professional and friendly. There was no waiting around. I got there at 8 a.m. and I was done and out at 10 a.m. . It has not even been 24 hours yet and I can tell you my back feels so much better already. It's going to make such a change in my life. I am so glad I went to him.

I would never go there again. Whoever said he shouldn't be a doctor, is RIGHT on the money. Even Jeff Smith who is only there, because he works for the City & Town is a disgrace to medicine. One said I had nothing wrong with me the other said I needed back surgery and then when I questioned how they treated me, they wouldn't talk to me again.

I can tell you from personal experience that this doctor has absolutely NO bedside manner. He makes snide and sarcastic remarks to you. The staff is fine and I cannot give them poor ratings, so if he has a higher rating from me, that is why. It's not for him, it's for his staff. I have had trouble with his attitude time and time again, but am limited as to who I can go to, due to there not being another Orthopedic group here. I can't tell you how much I dread going to him. If I had a choice of switching to someone else, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Very, very mean doctor, and patients do not deserve that. They are already in pain without someone treating them badly, to boot.

he actually hurt me during his exam, very rough, not caring, run through like an assembly line. his office made many mistakes on the paperwork.
