Dr. Isela Penunuri, MD

I absolutely adore Dr. Penunuri. She is warm, personable, detailed and extremely thorough. Always quick with a smile, she speaks to me as if I am the only patient she has that day and never makes me feel rushed. She must take copious notes because she follows up with me about things I had forgotten I’d even told her, and she takes each concern I have very seriously. As a breast cancer survivor, it was important to me to find a GP who would keep in mind my cancer history while also treating my whole body, and she has done just that. I look forward to seeing her, and would recommend her to anyone, particularly female patients who want to feel safe, nurtured and cared for. Thank you, Dr. Penunuri!!!!

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Penunuri for many years. I just found your website while surfing the net, and thank you for giving us the opportunity to express our view. Our Dr. Penunuri is compassionate, a great listener, explains in detail what we need to do to stay healthy and the importance of taking our diabetic medications/insulin and testing. She follows up with a letter explaining the results of our lab tests and office visit. We feel that she takes a personal interest in her patients and deserves an excellence award for her dedication to her patients and the love of her work as a physician! It shows.

Dr. Penunuri is a wonderful doctor. She puts you at ease and takes the time to answer your questions. She is easy to talk to. I find her and her staff are very compassionate. They really want to help you.
