I went for a consultation for a small medical procedure that would only require local anesthesia. After a thorough checkup that showed I was healthy, the staff told me they couldn’t schedule the procedure for a month and that because of the delay I would need to come back for ANOTHER consultation at my own cost. That would have been ridiculous even if general anesthesia were involved but this was only for a local. Stay away!

I highly recommend Dr. Ivo Pestana and all of his staff. The doctor is very professional and caring all in one. Wonderful first as a Doctor but also as a human being. He explains everything in detail and gives you his undivided attention. I couldn't be more satisfied. Each and every person in the office not only knows and does a great job but at the same time you know and feel that you are in very good hands. Overall I rate Dr Ivo among the very best!

My 10 year old cut his eyebrow down to the bone! Dr. Pestana was very gentle and comforting with him. My son never cried when he was stitched by Dr. Pestana! I was amazed at how he made both my son and I feel like part of his family. He is very caring and takes pride is his work. He took his time and even answered all of my son's questions! I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Ivo Pestana to everyone I know!

I have read all of the reviews below, and I absolutely cannot believe that someone would write anything so untrue. I have been at this physician's office not once but on many occasions, and he is absolutely wonderful! He is an incredibly wonderful physician, who is talented and excellent at what he does. The reviews seen here are ridiculous, and it makes you wonder what the motivation is. These people have not put their name to verify their claims, and their opinions are totally contrary to what other people have said on this site, and on other physician review websites, I have check a few of them, because I was just so shocked. Those silly reviews really show that you can't believe everything you read! This office staff is wonderful, they bend over backwards to accommodate patients and help with insurance issues. The doctor (and the other doctors in the practice) are fantastic, thorough, and excellent at what they do. Suffice to say, I have not only been treated… there myself, but I have referred friends, my own family and children to this Doctor, for cosmetics, cuts, reconstructions, etc. . And no one I know has ever had anything but a wonderful result and a great experience.

This physician is amazing. He is a wonderful plastic surgeon, truly gifted. And he is very caring and very professional. I had a tummytuck and my results are outstanding!!! I feel great in my clothes, and I look wonderful in a bathing suit. I never could have imagined that I would look as good as I do, and that is all because of the skill and meticulousness of the surgeon. I would recommend him to my family and friends without hesitiation.

Dr Pestana di reconstruction after breast cancer for me and I found him to be warm and caring and very particular about his work. I would highly recommend him for any type of surgery.
