Dr. Jacqueline Salcedo, MD

The receptionist refused to schedule an appointment & told me although I last saw a GI *YEARS* ago, this doctor will not accept any patient who has ever seen any other GI before. I’ve never heard of a such a policy anywhere else.

I had been a patient of this practice before Dr. Salcedo had joined this practice. I was one of her first patients . I had been battling hep c for many years. Her specialty in those days was hep c and all the latest knowledge of this disease. I was discouraged with all the different treatments of the early days, always being a non responder to all those tough treatments. Side effects made it very difficult to keep trying all the latest treatments. But Dr. Salcedo was a great motivator. She was like coaches that I had. Always inspiring me to push on. After years and years of believing in her and trusting her, it played off. She approached me with yet again, the latest med to combat the hep c. And again the coach in her was at a 10. I was discouraged, ready to let nature take its course. After all, I had been battling this virus for 30 or so years. Had been through every drug regamine with no luck. Thank God she talked me into one more try. I started Harvoni. A pill. No side effects, … no hair loss, no weight loss, no drug injections. Within a few weeks, no sign of the virus. Completed the Harvoni treatment, still no trace of the virus. That was 3-4 years ago. The virus is to this day, GONE. Dr. Salcedo guided me through this journey, stayed on me not to give up. Was the best coach that I had ever had. I believed in her and it paid off in a cure. From the bottom and top of my heart. Thank you Dr. Jacqueline Salcedo for your guidance and saving my life. ??

I went to Dr. Salcedo for abdominal pain/discomfort and GERD. She was dismissive and made fun of me as having the “weirdest symptoms ever” when I actually had at least 2 ventral hernias. This was discovered by other Drs, of course. Additionally, she laughed in a condescending manner when I requested an alternative to long-term Prilosec use (which is not recommended by the manufacturer, especially for someone with a history of c. diff). I discovered the low FODMAP diet on my own (which allowed me to stop using Prilosec) and never went back to this awful Dr. I would never recommend her.

Excellent experience. Dr. Saledo is kind, knowledgeable and her staff is exceptional as well. This group is genuinely concerned about patient care.

She really cares about you and wants to take care of your issues. I appreciate her. She tells it like it is and lets me take part in my health care.

Performed a colonoscopy on me. It was the best nap I ever had. Didn't feel a thing. Also performed a liver biopsy on me. It was a very doable procedure. A pinch.
