Dr. Jagruti C. Patel, MD

Had a reduction and one breast has a gouge of muscle taken out that - to best describe it - feels like an ice cream scoop indent. It’s visibly indented when I lay back. I had an allergic reaction to the sutures and while she did treat it she didn’t seem concerned that I had open and oozing wounds on my incision lines. I still have a scabbed area a year later that doesn’t want to heal but it’s not infected at least. I still have numbness along one breast and I can’t call her to ask if it’s normal (yes I talk to my pcp) but she’s closed and relocated to Mexico (yes I know that for a fact)

Dr. Patel is the best. She truly cares about you and how you feel about you. Takes the time to talk through things with you and explain everything thoroughly. I am extremely pleased !!

Met with Dr. Jagruti Patel on Friday, May 18th and I cannot rave enough about her. My visit was a consult, and I am honored to have her as my surgeon for a procedure. Dr. Patel is genuinely caring, and has a plethora of knowledge. She is warm, and takes the time to answer questions, and explains what you need to know. This was my 2nd consult, and I feel she is the match for me! I left her office with a happy heart...not discouraged! She is a rare gem, and I am soo happy to have been led to her.

The staff was very courteous and for once i actually got see a doctor when i was actually scheduled to see her. Once i met her i felt very comfortable with her. She is knowledgeable and seems to genuinely care. The subsequent surgery went very well and the results were excellent. I highly recommend her

Staff/Office: Very knowledgeable and considerate. They helped me with logistical problems that were not theirs to deal with at all. But they were very concerned about my overall comfort and satisfication on the surgery, experience and results. Dr. Patel: She is extremely passionate about what she does. No matter what surgery she is performing, her goal is to help the overall mental and physical health of a patient. She really listens and is extremely intuitive on a patient's needs--she volunteered information that I had not thought of and was completely honest about what I should expect. She and everyone else in the practice take a lot of care in providing top notch medical services (they are constantly learning about how medicine is progressing) and a complete patient experience (not just the surgery but also inclusive recovery and general lifetime maintenance).

She seemed pressed for time, did not really listen to my concerns. After being admitted to the hospital through the emergency room for complications around the breast reconstruction surgery, I was told she would be in to see me. She did not come in for 3 to 4 days and then just prior to the corrective surgery. She ignored complaints of pain and signs of infection. She failed to arrange for visiting nurse in a timely manner. She seemed focused on cosmetic surgery, not the needs of a 70 year old women when faced with a mastectomy. I experienced months of infection, pain, and required a great deal of physical therapy. I would not recommend her.
