Awesome doctor. Couldn't ask for better.

He explained my position clearly and was very gentle with the procedure. I was disappointed that the Tech jerked the chair to lay down position and my eye ball was poked by the lid opening device rather than gently laying it gently under the eye lid. Stil a nice visit though.

Dr. Pate was so kind. He explained everything that was going on with my eye to ensure I understood it. Also made sure that all my questions were answered. He did not rush me into surgery. He let me make that decision when I was ready. Definitely would recommend him if you need to see a Retina specialist.

Dr. Pate is very personable! He explains what is going on with your eyes and suggest a game plan to fix the problem. The staff is very efficient! His nurse is phenomenal—very caring individual!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Pate’s since he took over Dr. Taylor’s practice. He is thorough and knowledgeable. I feel that he cares about me and my eyes. I had detached retinas and this is the only place in town I would go to for this surgery.
