Dr. James Paul Darke, MD

I can't understand why someone would practice medicine on children without compassion. I strongly advise against choosing Premier Pediatrics, particularly Dr. Darke. During my appointments, I raised valid questions and voiced concerns about my child's behavior, only to be met with what seemed like indifference or impatience. Each time I requested a referral to see a specialist, he would tell me to make an appointment, only to try to downplay my concerns and offer countless excuses for why my kids shouldn't see a specialist. He will continuously say, “that is normal." To him, every concern I raised was just normal. If you have autistic children, this is not the right doctor for you; believe me, he won't help them get the support they need. Some people enter the medical field for the money, and he fits that description.

Terrible experience with Dr. Darke. I highly recommend avoiding Premier Pediatrics and Dr. Darke specifically. During appointments, I would raise valid questions and express worries about my child's health, only to be met with what felt like indifference or impatience. Dr. Darke repeatedly misdiagnosed my child. The misdiagnosis not only prolonged my child's suffering but also led to unnecessary treatments and interventions that could have been avoided with a more diligent and attentive approach to diagnosis.

Dr. Darke has been my son's pediatrician for 4 years. He has ADHD and a tic disorder, and it has been a tough time trying to find the best treatment for him. Dr. Darke has been patient with us (and our ongoing questions and concerns). He is very patient with my son and he always feels comfortable with him. We are happy to stay with Dr. Darke as our kiddo grows up. Thank you!
