Dr. James Patrick Halloran, MD

The office was up to date and clean. Check in process was very smooth. Dr. Halloran was very nice and knowledgeable. He asked pertinent questions and performed a quick exam. We spoke about options and scheduled an MRI. His office was very quick in getting approval from insurance.

Dr. Halloran is extreemly competent, his one on one skills are exceptional. He is supportive, and takes his time to make sure all questions are answered. I am glad that he did my surgry. I highly recommed him without exception.

Dr. Halloran, Bailey and his staff are excellent to work with. They spend the necessary time to make certain you understand their diagnosis and the possible solutions. Very easy to understand and to work with!!

I was referred specifically to see Dr. Halloran by a good friend who is familiar with most of the physicians within the St. Luke’s Healthcare system in Kansas City. He was my second visit out of three different foot surgeons for the same problem. All three surgeons had been highly recommended to me by other physicians. In fairness, all three had different opinions regarding the treatment and prognosis for my condition, but of the three, Dr. Halloran was the only one who appreciated the fact that I want to return to full function and have not resigned myself to the notion of remaining partially disabled. He was personable, professional, and very thorough. He reviewed all of my imaging with me, as well as his proposed plan. He was also the only one of the three foot specialists who was willing to evaluate my knee pain in the opposite leg which was what had triggered the foot problem, and so far, his recommendations for treatment have been accurate and helpful.

I wasn't going to leave a review and rarely if ever leave a reviews, but today was the last straw. Initially, I had what I thought was an excellent rapport with the NP, but it went south quickly. I cannot recommend Dr Halloran's NP. She got upset with me because I held her staff accountable for not submitting a referral to my insurance. I gave them 3 weeks to submit the referral and when I called to follow up the staff was untruthful. Thus, I decided to go somewhere else, at the NPs instance/recommendation. Today my new provider stated they have been trying since August 8th to get my medical records. I called KCOA medical records and apparently, said NP was delaying things. The medical records staff were very helpful and professional and are now sending the records over today.

Positive and friendly demeanor. Seemed thoughtful and open when discussing concerns and options. I would recommend him and the KCOA team.

Dr Halloran approached the treatment of my injuries with compassion and confidence. His attention to detail and realistic description of recovery made me confident he and his team were the right choice. In addition to answering my questions and concerns, he was equally focused on making sure my husband was included in the process which was immensely helpful during recovery. My surgeries were a success and a year out I am essentially back to normal and in many ways stronger than I was before my accident. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Halloran to any of my family member, friend, or patients.

I and my husband have been extremely pleased and happy with my recent surgery and visits with Dr.Halloran and his staff. He and his staff have always been very professional explaining everything and answering all of our questions. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing repairs to their ankle. I have no pain I had experienced just taking a step or standing on unlevel surfaces for the last few years. I'm so happy with my surgery and looking forward to walking around our farm with my husband this spring. I was also impressed with the KCOI surgical staff and care given to me by everyone at that facility.
