Dr. Jason Patrick Sullivan, MD

When you’re repaired by a miracle worker, you’re grateful the rest of your life. In July 2021 I’d not only broken my upper arm, but the ball of my shoulder was damaged and detached (believe me – I saw the x-rays). I won’t talk about the pain I endured while up in northern Iowa, looking for a doctor who offered more than just letting it heal as is, with the best outcome of never being able to raise my arm beyond straight sideways. I thank heaven that an insurance agent directed me to DMOS in West Des Moines and ultimately to Dr. Jason P. Sullivan. His surgery included putting a brace on my arm, lifting the shoulder ball back in place, and putting a wrap around brace there. In coordination with physical therapy through the end of that year, by January 2022 I felt literally “all fixed up.” I can now lift my arm above my head just like my other arm and have the same strength in both arms. What a blessing to be able to function now, with the same ability as before the breaks (while other… doctors could only offer a half functional arm). Additionally, Dr. Sullivan always showed sympathetic concern during my office visits and was thorough in follow-up visits of my outcome for a year after the surgery. I’m not only thankful at Thanksgiving time, but every day, and all year through.

Dr Sullivan did rotator cuff surgery on my left shoulder in May of 2018. I was very pleased with his bedside manner and the excellent results I got from this surgery. I had no pain or complications and physical therapy went well. My shoulder is back to normal and I couldn’t be more pleased. Being in my early 70’s I wondered if my shoulder would ever be strong again. I would highly recommend Dr Sullivan to anyone who is having shoulder problems.

Dr Sullivan did my bicep surgery over two years ago and it is still doing GREAT! He and his whole staff were Excellent!

Dr. Jason Sullivan was wonderful for my ACL surgery. Attentive, caring and a great listener, he addressed my concerns and provided me with great care both pre and post surgery. His PA, Jillian, was also fabulous to work with as well!

Dr. Sullivan and his staff were extremely helpful and caring. I torn my hamstring about a year ago and they were able to get me in for an MRI and surgery a couple days after. I was scared about the surgery and they helped make it an easy process. Best part is Being able to run, lift and play sports again. I would send any of my family or friends to see Dr Sullivan, Jill and staff at DMOS.

Dr. Sullivan did surgery on my daughter's knee. I felt he was very courteous and knowledgeable. I felt very confident having him do the surgery and trusted him very much.
