Dr. Jay Edmund Sulek, MD

I had kidney stones and suffered for weeks before he set me up for surgery. Prior to surgery I was on medication to enable dissolving and passing the stones. When I was admitted into the hospital for surgery I would have thought they would have scanned to see if the stones were still present, but they did not do that. I was put under anesthesia and when I awoke I was in the worst pain I ever felt in my life. I woke up to excruciating pain, fever, vomiting, and my blood pressure was sky high too. I found out that I had lots of procedures through my bladder and kidnies, but the stones were no longer present. I could not believe that all these procedures were conducted for no apparent reason. This could have been an out patient procedure, but instead became a 2 day debilitating stay. It has taken me almost 3 weeks to recuperate. Never again!!

Both my wife and I have seen Dr. Sulek in the Summit office. He is very professional and took time to answer questions and offer suggestions. I would have no problem recommending him to my friends or family.
