3 minutes agoNEW Dr Temkin is the absolute best psychiatrist . He is the best diagnostician and has an expertise in treatment and medication. He is caring, sympathetic , firm when required, and listens. He is the only one in my long history to bring me to a level of stability that enables me to live life healthy and in peace and enjoyment. His expertise , professionalism , trust-inspiring nature and genuine empathy are healing and strengthening. Highly, highly recommend.

I was Just reading a few Reviews ... I am Shocked .. It's been almost a Yr From My First Visit... I WAS EXTREMELY depressed ... I did Not feel Hopeful.. At My First Visit ; Dr Temkin... did NOT hesitate To write The meds I needed To start My Journey - A Place OF "LIGHT' ... I had been In MY bed Feeling Much Darkness, Hopeless , Despair.. I trusted DR Temkin - At That Point - I didn't feel Anything will work for me... Within 2 Wks , I did Feel a Bit Better... After about a Month , I Started To Feel Hopeful... Little By Slowly , I felt better within couple Months ... I was Getting Back to My Normal self.. It was Like a Miracle for me... I am Blessed to have found a DR that truly cared ...I still See Him on a Regular basis ... I have NOT had That HOPELESS Feeling , This past YR.. I do respect him... He was Proactive & Did NOT sit back ... I stayed On course .... I have Husband & Child - I am able To be present & Be responsible ... Live LIFE ! I am Grateful.. . I am TRULY thankful… For Dr Temkin... I do highly Recommend ...

There are no words to describe how unprofessional , mean, intimidating. He could care less what is wrong. He has no empathy or compassion. Run!

Stay away from this Doc. I agree that he doesn’t listen and is will give mediation for each symptom told to him without regard for interactions and addictions . Unprofessional!!

My experience with Dr Tempkin saved my life. I went in for a psychiatric condition but Dr is so thorough in his evaluation that he uncovered a medical problem. I am forever grateful.

I am an alcoholic/addict struggling for 20 years in and out of A.A and 12 step programs. Diagnosed with various conditions from every different doc that only would spend a few minutes with me. Nothing worked. Dr. Temkin, I believe, has diagnosed me correctly for the first time in my life and started me on a round of medications I was very leary of. Within one month I noticed huge changes. I am following his treatment plan and for the first time in 20 years, I feel peace and see light at the end of the tunnel. My head is quite right. I can focus a bit better every day. I wake up energized. I have craved alcohol and obsessed over it and one individual in general for so long and now I have absolutely no cravings! I highly recommend you give Dr. Temkin a shot!

Arrogant manners, doesn't listen to the patient, prescribes more and more pharmaceuticals, one for each symptom and without verifying if the symptom is significant enough to make merit for the prescription and in disregard to how they'd affect the person's cognitive and general functioning. Seems more like a pharma company agent than a compassionate doctor.

I saw Dr. Temkin for about a year and found him very helpful. He started me off on a smaller dosage of medication which was very effective. He never over medicated. His receptionist was delightful. I understand why he likes to be paid with cash. Once I understood that was his practice, it was no trouble.

Dr. Tempkin is a very strange psychiatrist. Instead of feeling support and working on solutions to help my depression he would talk about himself. I felt he "dismissed" my comments and problems. I would never recommend anyone go to this doctor. His wife who works as the receptionist/bill collector is also very rude. They did not take credit cards and wanted a cash or debit card payment. Not a very professional way to run a doctor's office.

used to think he was good but my views have changed, he's changed and will no longer be my doctor he has become very rude and not caring to my needs
