I would strongly caution anyone considering Jayesh V. Patel to pay very close attention to both the quality of the interaction and the billing practices associated with the visit. I was referred to this office on 03/18/2026 for a persistent unexplained earache. Before being seen, I paid a $50 copay. What followed was one of the most dismissive medical encounters I have experienced. Dr. Patel entered the room and began questioning and examining me simultaneously in a rushed manner. He told me my ears were “very clean,” specifically indicating there was no wax buildup or foreign material present. Every time I attempted to fully explain my symptoms, I felt interrupted and brushed aside. The overall tone of the visit gave me the impression that my concerns were not worth hearing because he had already decided what the diagnosis was before I could even finish speaking. The appointment itself felt extremely superficial. I was handed what appeared to be a pre-printed template sheet with… handwritten notes scribbled across it and recommendations consisting mostly of over-the-counter products anyone could buy at a pharmacy without seeing a specialist. I left feeling like I had paid specialist pricing for minimal effort, minimal communication, and no meaningful explanation of my condition. Then came the billing. About a week later, I received an additional $100 bill from the office claiming insurance did not fully cover the visit. After reviewing the claim details directly through BCBS, I discovered multiple charges submitted by the office, including billing descriptions associated with ear wax removal procedures and specialized diagnostic testing. This immediately raised concerns for me because Dr. Patel explicitly stated during the visit that my ears were already very clean. To the best of my knowledge, no wax removal procedure was ever performed. Additionally, I was never informed beforehand that any separate specialized diagnostic procedure beyond a normal examination would be performed or billed independently. At no point do I recall any meaningful discussion about additional billable procedures, costs, or consent. When I contacted the billing department seeking clarification, the response was not reassuring. Instead of carefully addressing why these charges appeared on the claim, the conversation quickly shifted toward demands for payment and warnings about collections and credit reporting. To be clear: I have absolutely no problem paying for legitimate medical services. What I do have a problem with is feeling dismissed as a patient while later receiving bills for procedures I do not believe were clearly communicated, explained, or, in my understanding of the visit, actually performed. Patients deserve transparency, informed communication, and respect. Unfortunately, my experience with this office left me with serious concerns about all three.

After many years of struggling with sinus problems and seeing three other ENTs in Brevard County with very poor results, I decided to see Dr. Patel. Dr. Patel expertly diagnosed my sinus problem after a physical exam and testing. It required surgery and the entire process was handled with professionalism, kindness, and compassion. The excellent results I experienced have truly changed my life for the better. I highly recommend Dr. Patel.

Incredible ENT physician!

Beware!! Do not use this Dr!! Front office is extremely rude. Berated one patient in front of entire waiting room for not being able pay part of her bill, threatening to not see her anymore. Then refused to explain insurance process to another patient, demeaning them for not understanding the process. When patient challenged the way she was being spoken to, office worker threw patient paperwork at patient and told her to leave or she would call police. Both instances are clear violations of HIPPA. I will also be reporting them to to Dept HHS. License should be revoked!!!

I saw Dr Patel several times. He told me what my issues were. He applied to my Insurance for Rinoplasty/ Septoplasty. I called his office to tell them I had been approved. I been arguing with his office. As they are claiming I am only there for the inspire. He put me through costly testing and trips over an hour away from home. that after he billed me and my medicare. he tells me he is not going to grant my surgery.( inspire). DAH that's not what he was operating on me for. I'm sorry but that is medical fraud. If you know from the first day your not operating on someone. Not one person in his office was nice from the first day I stepped into it. I should have ran day 1.

Make sure you get treatment in writing and dont tell them no if you cant do a treatment. Don't go to your summer home because you cant get your medication from the office.

I was struggling with an infection on in my mouth for years. I had a surgery done by another doctor but the infection came back within few months. I heard great things about doctor Patel and decided to go with him for my second surgery. I am very happy with the results and with doctor's bedside manners, professionalism and great customer service. I will consult Dr. Patel for all my future needs. He is the best doctor that I met in my life.
