I can say that from the onset when I learned I had prostate cancer through radiation and follow-ups it has been exceptional treatment. This could have been a scary, anxiety riddled experience but was quite the opposite. Even when I first saw the enterprise (radiation machine) I really had no fear and felt good about what I was doing. Thanks to all!

The front desk, Joni his nurse, the scheduler, anyone that called to give me pre op information, tell how much I was going to owe, the one who gave me my EKG, everyone at the surgical center, I’m sure I’ve left someone out. I can’t say enough good things about everyone at came in contact with.

Failed to diagnose primary hyperparathyroidism. I suffered from kidney stones from 1994 to 2016. I first met Applewhite in 2012 after repeatedly testing with high calcium and high PTH. My kidneys kept producing calcium stones, and I began having kidney infections with fevers of 102 every 4 months. My kidneys were being lithoed in order to remove stones that were holding the infection that became resistant to antibiotic treatment. Primary hyperparathyroidism was never mentioned as a possibility by Dr. Applewhite, a stone specialist. I found my diagnosis on google and confirmed it at UT Southwestern in Dallas. Norman Parathyroid removed 2 adenomas.

The doctor is great at his job. He removed my kidney stones in both kidneys . I was so scared and he informed me very well of everything and calmed my fears. He was very thero . When he removed the stents in my kidney i didnt feel it. He is gentel. He is great. I can not say enough good things about him. I am blessed to have such a great doctor.

Dr Applewhite is a very caring physician. He took the time to make sure I understood my diagnosis and options. He understood my concerns and I felt the trust relationship needed between a physician and patient. And I feel that the care I received was absolutely the best. His staff was very responsive to my needs especially when I had questions between visits. His surgical coordinator communicated with me several times before my procedure. I can’t say enough good things about him and his team (It feels like my team).
