Dr. Jeffrey David Horn, MD

I had cataract surgery in March/April of this year with Dr Jeffrey D Horne. The staff were friendly and professional. Dr Horne was great at explaining exactly what the procedure would be like. I went with his recommendation and WOW! What a difference. I do not wear glasses at all now!! Very good experience and I would recommend Dr. Horne and his staff for your vision needs!!

I am sending this comment 2 1/2 yeas after my eye surgery. I had lens replacement surgery and wanted to know if the effects of the surgery would last. After all this time I am here to tell you that I still see at 20/20 or 20/15 depending on the day I'm tested. Thanks so much for Dr Horn and all the staff for the care I was given and the results I received. David P. Hall

No one talks about the cost Dr Horn charges I had to pay over 8000 dollars for 2 replacement lens from cataract removal. From all the research I have done in past months this seems extreme. I have Medicare and United Health Care for the procedure and office visits. All I suggest is do your homework before you sign anything I didn't and I am SORRY

I've worn glasses since I was in first grade due to astigmatism. I'm now in my mid 60s, completed radiation treatment to my face and scalp because of a rare cancer and a side effect of that treatment created cataracts in both eyes. Dr. Horn had performed cataract surgery on my wife several years ago, while he was the director of Vanderbilt's Cataract Surgical Department, so he was a natural choice for me to consult. I chose to have Dr. Horn perform my surgeries and the results were unbelievable! I'm glasses free after nearly 60 years. I now can purchase a regular pair of sunglasses! Kudos to both his office staff and surgery center staff. They made the experience enjoyable!

Thru Intraocular lens replacement, Dr. Jeffery Horn, MD has given me the blessing of perfect vision. I was born with sever farsightedness in both eyes with astigmatism and a lazy eye in the left eye. Dr. Horn, MD believed he could, and I also believed in him because of my faith in Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord for working thru Dr. Jeffery Horn, MD, I couldn't have had a better Doctor!!!

Dr. Horn did my Lasik a few years ago. I visited 3 Lasik doctors and Dr. Horn impressed me the most. Thankfully he happened to charge less than the others--but I didn't choose him for that, I wanted the best. I asked why he could charge less and was satisfied with his answer that he didn't have some of the debt and overhead. He also doesn't toy around with some different levels of Lasik, as some others in the middle TN area. He asked all of my "tough" questions. He had a model of an eye on the wall and when I asked him about it, I saw him light up talking and explaining. I knew this was someone who loves what he does. The office staff was friendly and very accomodating. I looked into Lasik ans was nervous going into the procedure. I have experienced none of the star burst or other worst case scenarios. I have since referred a friend to Dr. Horn, and he referred another friend--all great experiences. With no hesitation I still recommend him to friends and co-workers.

He canceled surgery less than 1 hr before check in b/c he was completely unprepared. He didn’t have the lens he suggested to replace the lens given to me in my cataract surgery (not done by him). His surgical nurse blamed his administration office staff who have NO responsibility for ordering lenses. He then called me & said “Don’t blame me. It’s not my fault. It’s the Bausch & Lomb sales rep fault for not delivering it. I got upset & he said “Don’t yell at me.” I had put off another medical procedure for 3 weeks (back injections) to get this done. I asked to get me in following week (he only operates Wednesday) & he said he couldn’t guarantee. I told him to impose on some other patients schedule like he did mine & my wife. He finally said “I have patients to get to” & I agreed he should do that. I dodged a bullet.

I would not post this but I had to share my amazing story. For those of you who know me , I have had cataract surgery on both eyes I am so happy to report that it was a great success. I first want to give God the glory . I thank Him for sending me to Dr, Jeffrey Horn he is the best !??????. I wish everyone could see the world through my eyes. He has a specialized staff that got me through a very nervous and anxious time. I wish I could list them by name, there we to many . God Bless each and every one of them.

Dr. Horn is great! He performed my Lasik and I could see better almost immediately. I wish I had been able to do this procedure years ago!!! Would do it again in a heartbeat!
