Not good. Doesn't care about patients' health

I recently moved to this area from California. I had a rash on my arms, so I went to see Dr Knispel . He simply told me "I don't know what it is". He did not suggest any testing for allergies, or anything testing for that matter. He asked me no questions about diet, allergies or changes in environment . No effort to make a diagnosis what so ever. I went back to California and was seen by my doctor there. He put me on supplements for my skin and ordered blood work to check for heavy metals in my blood, because I NOW live here in CT in a house that has WELL WATER. I also do not eat meat, but I do eat fish. "Dr" Knispel, never asked a single question or he would have known that. No diagnostic skills, and he seemed uninterested in making one. Stick to botox and fillers, they are money makers for dermatologists, and require minimal effort .

My wife and I had new patient appointments with Dr. Knispel. Not only was he kind and gentle, but made accurate diagnosis and treatment recommendations. His compassion, and professional expertise is all that anyone would want in a physician. I would highly recommend him to anyone I care about.

We saw Dr. Knispel for the 2nd time yesterday because he is highly rated and has quite an impressive background. I was anything but impressed with his consultations. Both times he was very rushed and doesn't even let you get a word in. I had many questions and he continued to speak over me and dismiss them without even letting me finish. The kicker is that he barely looked at my son's raised rash, and these are his words: "I don't know what that it is, it can be anything. Try some cream." What a waste of a $50 co-pay and my hard earned insurance dollars. Next time I will wait for Dr. Zalka, she is worth it! She takes her time with you, hears out your questions, and looks closely. She is absolutely wonderful. I don't know is NOT an acceptable answer from a doctor!

I was very pleased with the time he took on my first visit. Very compassionate . I was impressed when he called the next day to follow-up on the visit. I will definitely continue to see him.

What a great Doctor! Great bedside manners and very patient. He will spend time with you and answer all your questions and concerns. I'm glad he's my doctor. Would highly recommend.

I fired my last DR - his staff were rude and who needs that? Dr. K is great, his staff is courtious, and his skill is high. I'm happy I switched and have started bringing my son here for his acne and other issues. You will like him.

Dr. Knispel gives me natural results on the face with fillers and botox. I used to go to another doctor, a plastic surgeon, but left him because every time I got "maintenance" my face ended up purple and red. He was too hard with the needle but I did not realized, I didn't know better. It took me a few years to make up my mind and go, and a lip with a purple spot created by the surgeon with a needle that took over 4 years to disappear! Dr. Knispel has "hands of silk", he is careful, very experienced and knowledgable. His bedside manners are great, proffesional and easy going, he makes me feel very comfortable. After getting my "maintenance" the last time I decided to go to the mall to buy a lipstick, now one could tell where I came from because Dr. Knispel knows how to insert the niddle, how much amount to put and where to put it. I am very happy with him.

TWO VISITS, WAITING AND TREATMENT AREAS WERE COMFORTABLE, NICELY DESIGNED, ALL STAFF WERE FRIENDLY, THERE WAS NO WAITING. THE DOCTOR WAS RELATED, CONCERNED, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND REASSURING. MINOR SURGERIES WERE DEFTLY PERFORMED WITH NO PAIN. THE DOCTOR PHONED TO REPORT TEST RESULTS.
