Dr. Unger and his staff treat me with the highest care. During my office visits and during any procedure I have always felt confident I was getting the best care. Dr. Unger is responsive to my questions and provides all treatment options. I’m glad he is a participant of my insurance in-network doctors.

It its always a most pleasant experience seeing Dr Unger whether for a Gastro problem or just a follow up. He is always a bright spot in my day. Dr Unger is thorough, knowledgeable and so considerate. I actually look forward to my visit. The office staff is competent and makes the sign-in and sign-out procedure easy and comfortable. The nursing staff is caring and so efficient. I am taken for my appointment on time with only minutes waiting for the Doctor in the Examination room.

Dr. Unger was very thorough and explained in details the possibility causes for my visit. He suggested procedures that would confirm these possibilities. He exhibited great “bedside manner”. I felt totally comfortable during this visit.

I appreciated his genuine concern and detail with trying to finding the root cause of my small bowel obstruction.

He is a knowledgeable gastroenterologist with a kind bedside manner, always taking time to answer questions - the epitome of a caring professional. One of his best attributes is that he has zero "god complex" allowing me to choose the treatment options that I'm most comfortable with. I can't recommend him enough! The office staff, a very busy group of people, is always nice and that's a huge plus.

amazing physician, great bedside manner and diagnostic skills

My son and I have had the same experience with Dr. Unger. He doesn't talk to you, he talks to his machine. When trying to mention problems and concerns, he cuts you off and talks into his machine. He may be answering the concern, but he needs to learn to talk to the patient, NOT to a machine. Extremely disappointed. It took two months to get an appointment with him and then to be met with such disrespect was horrible. He performed tests without saying why, he told me to have other tests performed, but then didn't give any scripts to get them done. Overall, very disappointed!
