When we drive by Dr Maraia’s office my kids will ask me if we can “go visit Dr Maraia at her house.” That says a lot about how hard she works to make her patients feel like she is not just their doctor, but part of their family. She is a brilliant lady with a true gift for what she does. I can not say enough good things about Dr Maraia.

One of the sweetest, smartest, and most caring doctors I have ever met. My kids LOVE this amazing woman. She even manages to make my very shy and fearful child who has autism feel at ease....and that has never happened at a doctor's office before. I just can not say enough great things about her. I can always get a same day appointment with no problems too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr Maraia!!

Dr Maraia is a very caring and knowledgeable doctor. My kids love her, and even ask to go "visit" her when we drive past her office. She is the BEST!!!

My children are both very shy, and extremely fearful of doctors. Thank goodness Children's International hired this beautiful lady. She had my kids laughing and playing with her in less than a minute... And that never happens with them. I love that she uses her personal experience as a mother to help with her advice as well. She explained things so clearly, with a well layers out "plan of attack" as she called it, and asked if myself or the kids had any questions. How nice to include them. She gave a great answer to my 3 year old daughter's question "why do we poop?" it was priceless!!

Dr. Maraia is the only doctor my handicapped child has ever been comfortable with. She always takes her time with her, and will even sit on the floor and play with her to put her at ease. She is a true angel on earth!!!

Best pediatrician in the New Orleans area. She is very knowledgeable and caring with an excellent bedside manner. I highly recommended her.

My kids and I LOVE Dr Maraia!!! She is so kind and patient with my kids even when they are extremely cranky. She always takes the time to make sure I understand and feel comfortable with the plan. And you can actually talk to her when you have a question over the phone. She always calls me personally with test results. I just can't say enough nice things about her.
