Dr. Jeremy Scott Carrasco, MD

I was recently referred to Dr. Carrasco by my GI for gallbladder issues. I did have to have it removed and we had a big vacation planned for the following month and I was concerned that my health would interfere with those plans. Dr. Carrasco took the time listen and answer all questions and concerns. His office staff was extremely friendly and competent and as a result, I have never waited more than five minutes in the waiting or medical room to be seen by Dr. Carrasco. My robotic gallbladder surgery and recovery went very well. I highly recommend Dr. Carrasco and his staff to anyone needing general surgery. As stated in another review, I was experiencing some discomfort before surgery and Dr. Carrasco asked if he could pray with me before surgery. That act of compassion calmed me down immediately. I have never had a doctor ask me that before. I saw Dr. Carrasco at the Texas Health Resources in Plano on Parker Road (what used to be Plano Presby).

Best surgeon I’ve ever had! No one wants to have surgery, but if you, Dr.Carrasco is the man! I can’t speak highly enough about his expertise, demeanor, and care.

Dr. Carrasco is a saint from heaven. I needed gallbladder surgery and was going to a family wedding in Wisconsin. When I told Dr Carrasco my plans he opened a surgery spot the next morning so I’d have more time to heal and still be able to go. My recovery is exactly as he said it would be. I am so thankful to have found him and won’t hesitate to recommend him and his caring staff to anyone who needs a surgeon. He’s the best.

We highly recommend Dr. Carrasco as a caring, compassionate, and effective surgeon. He and his team were proactive in ensuring that all my medical conditions were cleared before proceeding to urgent surgery to remove the appendix. He listened and answered our concerns and guided us to prepare for ambulatory surgery. It was successful, to the extent that I did not need to take any pain medication after surgery, and I recovered really fast. We value good reviews, and that is how we found Dr. Carrasco on the internet. He and his staff are highly efficient and available at any time. They are friendly and courteous. We felt we were in good hands with Dr. Carrasco from the first visit.

Excellent surgeon who knows what he is doing. Also a devout Christian, which is a major plus. Very smooth recovery. I highly recommend him for your surgery needs.

My experience with Dr Carrasco was EXCELLENT and pleasurable. My Hernia Surgery and recovery went well. His staff & nurses were pleasurable to work with as well. I give them all two thumbs up with Five Stars. The one special trait I like about Dr Carrasco's character that he's a devout Christian and prays with you right before surgery! WOW! What a great man & doctor he is! I don't know too many doctors that do that openly today. Now you know he's a man of God performing your surgery, now you know your Comforter is there as well! Amen to that! Once again Dr Carrasco, I thank you & your staff for the OUTSTANDING work performed!!!

I have used Dr. Carrassco for several surgeries and I can't say enough about this wonderful surgeon. Dr. Carrassco offers a prayer while holding your hand prior to surgery that helps to put me at ease. Dr. Carrassco is detailed, thoughtful, compassionate, caring and answers all questions in terms that can be understood by the patient. Dr. Carrassco is quite passionate about his work. The office staff are friendly, courteous and efficient.
