Dr. Jerry Joseph Lorio, MD

After 5 major surgeries and the misplacement of a feeding tube where I weighed 134 pounds and after 3 1/2 weeks weighted 92 pounds I developed major anxiety. It's really takes a toll on you when you call Home Health every night, go to your primary doctor 3 times, go to the ER twice and back to the surgeon 2 times telling each one something is wrong and no one believes you. Finally, a month later I had them go down in my stomach only to find that they missed my stomach by an inch. I think anyone would develop major anxiety and have a trust issue after that! I have never felt more calm and safe as I do with Dr. Jerry Lorio. He is very calm when he speaks and his body language is very calming. I had to have a knee replacement and I choose Dr. Jerry Lorio. He does not hurry when he meets with you. He explains everything and answers all your questions. I would give Dr. Jerry Lorio a 10 in every area. I trust him, he has done over 2,000 knee replacements, he has never had any of the parts… that he uses recalled and he cares so much about his patients. He is an amazing orthopedic doctor and very compassionate. So, if you need a top orthopedic doctor, he is your doctor! He is also well know. Everywhere I went, someone would ask me, who did your surgery and I would always reply Dr. Jerry Lorio. Each person would reply back; oh he is so good! I am so glad Dr. Jerry Lorio is my doctor!

I have had very good results from the word doctor Lorio has done on my leg he explains what is going on and the procedures that he is going to do in my opinion he has good bedside manners and I would recommend him to anyone

Dr Lorio is always kind and compassionate about my problems. He tries to correct the problem without surgery if possible but will always give me his expert advice but let me make the decision.

He has a wonderful staff ! But as a doctor he leaves a lot to be desired . I saw his assistant more than him. It took me four months to convince him the screws had backed out in my leg and even longer before he believed the plate was causing pain with every step I too ! My family doctor was more helpful than him. I will NEVER recommend him to anyone !

Dr. Lorio is caring and very professional. He is a great doctor.

Unfriendly, talks fast and obviously wants to get to the next patient. This is on EVERY visit. Feels like a factory assembly line. He definitely does not enjoy his job.
