Dr. Job Jacob, MD

Dr. Jacob is one of the few physicians in the area that sees all of his patients personally, without the assistance of an APRN. He is very knowledgeable in all aspects of his field and takes careful consideration in the treatment and care of all of his patients. He specifically and carefully develops a treatment plan for each patient, individually, based on their presentation of symptoms. Dr. Jacob genuinely cares about his patients and their well being and health. I witnessed this personally after he treated my husband. He listened to his complaints carefully and devised a plan to treat him appropriately. My husband was very pleased with the care he received. Dr. Jacob has all of his patients return to the office after their procedures to discuss with them personally, the results. It is his intention to make certain the patient understands the results of their tests. He is always available to answer questions. The office atmosphere is always professional, but fun. The… people that work there are a definite plus to the practice. I would highly recommend Dr. Jacob to anyone experiencing GI issues.

This guy never listen to my wife and after almost a year treating her he done nothing for her. He told her to take imoduim and that was the best he could do, all he cared about is collecting his money and billing insurance. She been sick for year and half and lost 60 lbs and it wasn't till I had to take her to hospital and another doctor seen her and put her on medication for infection, she is starting to get better. This was first time in 1 1/2 that she was able to eat three meals in one day, even if they were small meals.

Dr Jacob takes the time to actually listen to you and seams to genuinely care. Another reviewer used the word compassion and I could not agree more. He is very knowledgeable in his profession and has been able to diagnose and treat me when multiple other doctors have failed. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a GI doctor who cares about his patients.

This doctor doesn't. Know what he is doing .had many test 4 mo later had to have surgery.

Only visit he seemed to be interested in was the first time i went. Follow ups were very very short and seemed brusk. didnt even speak when entering the room. Did not like his bedside manner at all. Did not help me with my problem as acted like he didnt know what to do or didnt have time to figure it out.

Dr Jacob showed more compassion in 5 minutes than I encountered within the last several weeks with my primary care providers staff. He was calming, knowledgeable and was the voice of reason. Thanks so for your thoughtfulness and care.
