Dr. Jodi Sharon Michaels, MD

This woman is unqualified to work with human beings. She did not treat me with dignity or respect and at one point was mocking my responses to her questions. She loudly discussed my medical information in the hallway for the lobby to hear while I was using the restroom. She didn’t listen to my concerns and I left feeling gaslit. I cried my entire drive home because she made me feel so small. I hope she quits medicine before she does more damage to others.

This was the worst medical experience of my life. The appointment was rushed and Dr. Michaels was very impatient and frustrated when I answered her questions. She inserted a catheter into my bladder without explaining the procedure. She asked me if she could "drain my bladder" and said "it will feel weird". How could I consent to something that wasn't explained to me? I couldn't see anything and it was very unexpected and painful. After getting dressed, I started crying from the pain and shock. When she entered the room again, she asked me if I was ok and then told me I can leave while I'm in tears and then walked out. I was in pain and couldn't urinate for hours after this. She never called me after my tests results came back and prescribed me medication without speaking to me once. I had to call her office and someone had to explain my test results and what I was being prescribed. I requested that she call me and she never did.

Terrible experience. Very disappointed in the lack of care shown by this doctor. I was excited and eager to have some answers. Instead I left feeling even more discouraged and frustrated. Would not recommend to anyone.

Drove an hour to see her to have my problems completely disregarded. Do not see her unless you’re a fan of condescending remarks, big egos and bad bedside manners.

Very knowledgeable, to the point, answers questions

Rude, abrasive and inconsiderate. My poor mom!! I do not like this doctor. The office staff was great, but this doctor was very subpar. Looking for a new doctor for my mom. I know this lady is from New York, but even so, still above average in the "rude" department.

I went into this appointment with excitement thinking I would get answers and the help I needed... instead, I left crying. She made me wait an hour in the room, sent in a trainee first to ask me a million questions, had her trainee do the exam while they whispered and ignored everything I was trying to explain about my problem, snapped at me every time I tensed up because they were hurting me and were going TOO FAST , tried to catheterize me without my knowledge and explaining why and how first, and when I panicked because I was already SO UNCOMFORTABLE and scared of them and said I was scared, she packed up shop and said fine! A doctor, especially one that involves your private --sensitive-- parts, should explain themselves, speak slowly and be gentle. I would not go to this Dr.... if you like to be spoken over, rushed and treated rough, go to this dr. she clearly missed the semester on patient sensitivity.

Extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Spends zero time with you with no bedside manner at all.
