I had a very large cerebral aneurysm and Dr. Chalouka literally saved my life. At the time (2002), there were very few Drs in Nebraska that were skilled to perform the surgery. They all wanted to cut into my skull, but Dr. Chaloupka suggested another option, endovascular coiling. I was back to work in 6 weeks. A year later, I had a setback with an episode of TIAs. He was right there waiting for me when I got off the airplane. I have been great since and every day I thank God for another day, and sending me to Dr. Chaloupka.

I would highly recommend Dr Chaloupka to anyone. He is one of the best there is. I've been seeing him for going on 12 yrs. He saved my life. He is very knowledgable in all aspects of his profession.

The first time I met this doctor he was very nice and polite. The next few times he was a little late. The first time I had an operation he was right their with me. Then after that it became increasing hard to even even get him to meet appointments. Then I stppoed seeing him all together. I saw the doctors he was training and never him. Not even in the operations. One day we had an appointment and I saw him walking threw the parking ramp. He nodded and I thanked him for holding the door but we didn't recognize each other. My mom had to tell me "You know that was your dotor." I oviously didn't expect to see him at our SCEDAULED appointment, but my mom was determined. We had to wait 4 hours. Then when we finally saw him he said "I'm in a big hurry here." By the way I'm 16 and hopelessly scared of hospitals. His bedside manner SUCKS!

He performed two surgeries to correct my brain aneurysm and was clear about the procedure, correct in everything he said about post-operative recovery, and a superb person to deal with. His staff would take a bullet for him.
