I had a band that and was removed then got a severe infection sepsis this was done by Dr Ginsburg then I finally found Dr Egan after a gastric bypass to fix the band issue that bypass was botched by Saint Alexius new start Dr Egan took me on as a patient after that when nobody else would if he would have denied me I would have had to fly to New Jersey it was a 14-hour reconstructive surgery he literally saved my life as I was dying I gad a bad fitsula,4 holes everything was leaking into my body and even a tube put on wrong.he always made sure I was listening and was not in any pain. I'm now 123lbs start was 320

He is inept, very rude, does not listen one bit and does not care about his patients comfort whats so ever. He was very misleading in his opinions. I wouldn't let him babysit my neighbors pet rock, let alone perform surgery on me. I have multiple hernias and he wanted to operate on me 3 different times, just cares about money, money, money. He will NOT perform surgery without a mesh patch for a hernia, so don't bother him. He is incapable. He actually told me to wait until my hernia is STUCK outside my body, then go to the emergency room for emergency surgery or I could die!!! Actual quote out of his mouth!! He made several other VERY disturbing statements. WORST DOCTOR EVER, STAY AWAY. On a good note, his staff was very friendly.

Just a horrible experience, he suggested to call him back before 6 months only if my hernia gets Stuck outside. He even went into great detail how to massage it back in if it gets stuck out and then I shouldn't worry about it. Only if it stays stuck should I bother him with a call. At that point you have to go to the ER before the blood flow cuts off and your life is in danger, so why would I ever call back a doctor who gives that advice. I don't think he heard a single word I said as my first words were that I am in pain daily just walking up the stairs and my hernia pops out multiple times a day. I am glad it was only a consultation and I never have to see him again, as that was just one of several disturbing statements. On a good note, the staff was very friendly.
