Dr. John Han-Chun Sun, DO

Dr. Sun will NOT follow through with the treatment you discuss with him. You will come up with a plan. Then find out at the last minute that everything you discussed is not happening. His staff doesn't know why, apparently Dr. Sun doesn't properly update your chart. If they follow up with the Doctor you will either not hear back, be told they couldn't reach him, or just be told "Dr. Sun decided this is what's best right now" without further explanation. You will be lied to and told the doctor is on vacation and assigned to another provider when he is done with you. If you ask to reschedule for when he comes back from the so-called vacation, they will refuse on the basis of "it's what Dr. Sun thinks is best". Then after your experience with that other provider proves to be truly awful and you request another appointment with Dr. Sun, his staff will be confused because he's not on vacation, he's actually in the office. Nobody takes accountability for the lying and dishonesty. So you… give yourself 24 hours to chill out and compose yourself and send in a respectfully worded complaint about how this all went. There is no discussion. No follow up. No customer service. They just reply back to you that they will no longer be seeing you as a patient. Is this even ethical? It doesn't feel like it.

Extremely rude to me , does not listen to patients AT ALL , my mother almost cussed him out it was so terrible.

Dr Sun has no concern for his patients and only communicates through the front office via passed along messages that don’t get shared unless multiple calls are made by the patient. Dismissive and absolutely no bed side manor. Would avoid at all costs.

Dr. Sun has a poor bedside manner that does not inspire my confidence in his medical opinion or expertise. After pressing his office to get an appointment for a GI problem (instead of going to the ER as the nurse suggested so I could be seen and get a prescription), he never even examined me, just gave me a prescription. His nurse had trouble getting a blood pressure reading on me that wasn’t seriously low, so she suggested I stop at a pharmacy or Wegmans on the way home to take my own BP in one of the machines there. My BP was so low because I hadn’t been eating much for several weeks while I tried to get an appointment!

Dr Sun has NO concern for patients only to get another one thru his office. Nurses are excellent and truly concerned if you have any issues but Dr Sun truly can not be bothered. Level of care feels like a puppy mill

Excellent, very thorough and knowledgable

Overall put on wait before surgery unneeded surgery! Asked only to speak with my husband, spoke to my parent against my will!!!! Botched stent implant, no follow-up xray to make sure stent was in place properly. Damage(scar tissue) as a result!!!
