Dr. John Joseph Mcgetrick JR.

John J. McGetrick Jr., M.D. was born and raised in Central Florida. He obtained his Bachelors of Science in Biology at the University of Florida, where he graduated with honors, and was a Valedictorian of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. He received his Doctor of Medicine at University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. Subsequently, he completed his General Surgery Internship and Urologic Residency at University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin. After his training, Dr. McGetrick returned to Florida where he has been practicing since 2015. Currently, Dr. McGetrick is a proud member of the medical staff at Osceola Regional Medical Center. Dr. McGetrick is a certified diplomat of the American Board of Urology. In his practice he focuses on robotics and minimally invasive surgery in the treatment of benign and malignant urologic conditions including kidney stones, pelvic prolapse, kidney tumors, and prostate cancer. He also …manages a variety of general urologic conditions including benign prostate enlargement, female incontinence and pelvic prolapse, urinary tract infections, urologic oncology (cancers of the prostate, kidney, adrenal gland, ureter, bladder, urethra, and genitals), interstitial cystitis and pelvic pain, male infertility, erectile dysfunction, vasectomy, and vasectomy reversal.
