Dr. John Luther Boone, MD

Dr. Boone is my son’s favorite doctor and that is saying a lot to please a three year old. He gets down on my son’s level and interacts with him to gain his trust. He takes the time to make his assessments interactive so my son gets well seen and has fun while doing it. His nursing staff interacts with the patients on a personal level. My son was really into rocks and the nurse was able to relate telling him how her and her son go to the north shore and pickup rocks too. Dr. Boone also takes the time to answer my many questions as a parent. I have been able to prevent seeing a doctor for at least three ear infections in the past eight months since getting ear tubes with my son. His bedside matter is fantastic. I would trust Dr. Boone with my care any day.

My daughter has anxiety and sensory issues and had put some things in her ear to block noise in the classroom. He didn’t ask any questions before jumping into the procedure. He screamed at her while she was crying and afraid. He seemed annoyed that we were there to seek help. Overall, traumatic experience.

I went in for a consult, and felt extremely rushed first by the nurse in going over symptoms, and then worse with the doctor. He only concentrated on extremely recent, when the past year plus needed to be discussed in further detail. He zoned in immediately with what he thought was the issue without full consideration. I’m not saying what he determined is wrong, but I do question it due to how rushed he was. Also did not receive all information or prescription that was discussed during the visit.

Dr. Boone was personable, thorough, pleasant and efficient and timely. Would definitely recommend.

He did a great job, he listened carefully to my questions, and he answered all my questions very carefully and thoughtfully and helpfully.

I met Dr Boone in order to have my hearing checked. He did a brief exam and met again with me after the audiology test. He explained the results of my test, told me how to protect my hearing & told me there was no need for hearing aids at this time. He took his time, asked if I had any questions and I felt very comfortable with him. When I come back next year for an exam, I will definitely ask to see Dr. Boone again. The clinic is clean, modern & has a sound-proof booth where the hearing test is conducted. I was impressed with the clinic and Dr Boone

I’m sure he means well, but unless your ear is infected or you have ringing, don’t go. Apparent ear pain is a waste of this mans time.

Visit was quick, clean, and informative. Usually, it can be an unpleasant experience having someone clean your ears. Dr. Boone walked me through the process in real-time while maintaining great conversation to take your mind off of it. Thanks Doc!
