Dr. John Laphong Chow, MD

Dr. Chow is very caring. He is very thorough. He explains things completely and gladly answers any questions you might have. He is the only anethesiologist I ever had that called after the procedure to check on my well being. I have had reaction to anethstesia prior. He took that into concideration and there were no problens.

I have had more than 10 surgeries under general anesthesia over my life and have experienced severe post-operative nausea and vomiting in all of them. Dr. Chow took the time to listen to my many concerns and worked up an anesthesia plan to minimize my nausea/vomiting problems. He succeeded! After the four-hour nasal surgery, I had NO post-op nausea or vomiting for the first time in my life! Dr. Chow carefully listened to me, and I appreciated his attention to all aspects of my well-being. He even called me a few days after the surgery to see how I was doing. In my experience, it is rare to find an anesthesiologist who goes out of the way to connect with a patient the way he did. For future surgeries, I will make every effort to request him again.
