Dr. Tobia John Mercuro

Dr. Mercuro is an extremely insensitive, uncaring, and unprofessional physician in my opinion. He miscommunicated his diagnosis with me; indicating that I was in perfect health yet scheduling me for tests galore. When I called for an explanation; he would Not take my calls or return them. I was told Not to work out or go to ballet; at my own risk! I suffer from Generalized Anxiety. I left 3 after hour messages for Dr. Mercuro; he failed/did Not return my calls! Ultimately I bumped up the tests sooner, switched over to Dr. Beattie whom is lovely, and professional. Bottom line; I am 100% heart healthy my test results came back perfect! I would Not recommend Dr. Mercuro

That should say it all. Just stay away from this doctor. Some doctors want to help others just want to make money. He is clearly in this for making money. He will infuriate your aging parent with a heart condition when he treats them with complete and total disrespect. He will also pad his hospital bill by committing fraud and telling you if you leave the hospital Medicare will not pay your bill. Flat out absolute 100% lie. He treats the elderly without an ounce of compassion. Do not go to see this doctor for any reason whatsoever if you want to avoid pure aggravation and stress for your already stressed out heart.

On top of his game. After listening to my family history along with my complaint of mild chest discomfort he got me in for a Catheterixation and Stent. My right coronary artery was 99% blocked. Whew, it was a close one. Thanks to Dr Mercuro I'm alive and still kicking.

Dr, Mercuro was singularly insensitive to other health problems I was having and became hostile when I wanted to delay a stress test.

I find Dr. Mercuro and his office staff to be outstanding, pleasant, polite, considerate and mostly professional. I look forward to my visits when I have to go.

Excellent doctors and staff!

he seemed uninterested with my case and got angry when i askedquestions, he doesnt even have the decency to tell his staff he is running late so they can let us know. his staff is always clueless of hiswwhereabouts. i ended up walking out after waiting 2 hours without a refund on my copay. he doesnt explain anything and seems full of himself and very arrogant. i was disgusted by this doctor, i will never understand why people still go to him.

He diagnoses at Princeton Hospital where implanting a stent is not done. Sends you to Temple U. Hospital with a serious blockage and no meds. Keeps you waiting for hours. His office will tell you he's at the hospital but he's not. He does not have the courtesy to inform you that he's running late and the hospital staff will not give you the truth. No meds, no doctor and you're at risk of a heart attack. Temple University Hospital and this doctor show little caring for the patient.

I was very impressed with the amount of time and attention that Dr. Mercuro spent with me. He was thorough and caring.

Nice man, excellent doctor. Waiting time at appointments can vary.
