Dr. John Randall Samples, MD

Saw him because my regular eye doctor was booked solid. He insisted on giving me an eye exam, then tried to sell me glasses, even though I told them I'd just had an eye exam at an optometrist's office and didn't need one. I was there to have scans done on my eyes, to check any progress of my macular degeneration. He refused to do scans, and dilated my eyes instead. He kept touching my eye while looking into it. He poked me in both eyes, repeatedly, then yelled at me for flinching. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Dr. S. is a compassionate and experienced glaucoma specialist for us. He is helpful always, and listens to the patients. He suggests ways to improve eye health.

Wonderful, caring doctor who spends a lot of time carefully explaining your condition.

I was referred to Dr. Samples for a 2nd opinion and never returned to my original doctor. Dr. Samples went out of his way to treat me on a Sunday due to an ulcer in my eye that needed prompt attention. He is truly a very caring person and seems to be a real expert in his field. Also, a big lover of black labradors! P.S. I see him in the Denver area.
