Dr. John Edward Thordsen JR., MD

Dr. Thordsen is awesome. My retina detached and I was totally freaked out about it. He calmed me down, came into the office on both Saturday and Sunday just to check on me and then performed a successful surgery. Since then the post-op care has been tremendous. I feel fortunate I ended up with him as my surgeon.

I was diagnosed with a detached retina and Dr. John Thordsen at NC Retina worked efficiently and effectively to repair the detachment without the use of surgery. He and his friendly staff have taken good care of me and preserved my vision.

I have been seeing Dr Thordsen, Dr. Manning and Dr. Casey at NCRetina since 2009. all three are awesome doctors. i appreciate their professionalism, knowledge, sincerity, honesty, diagnosis, treatment and direction. highly recommended. Front desk Judy is very courteous and polite.
